Does anyone honestly believe that the servers know the difference between a "live ticket" and a "dead ticket"..........
....Besides, just show her how much "money you lost" on those tickets and throw her a buck...........Jack Daniels and coke, anyone??? |

That being said, you can pick up a drink coupon at the Mirage from bettting $2 horse bets if you tip the ticket-taking peeps. I'll usually bet a favorite to show and get $2.20 back about every other bet, so it works out for me.

oh yeah, at the hilton (I see it's now the LVH) they didn't care or even really look to see if you had a ticket. One of my broke buddies wasn't even playing, but they would still keep bringing him drinks since he was at least tipping them a buck or whatever.

If you need a drink bet $2 on a horse and get a drink and a bet for $3 with a tip and that is not even required but enguaraged if you want good service. Or go to the books that dont require tickets. Nothing is free in this world. Its only free after you pay for it one way or another. |
