#581 Posted: 5/14/2012 8:45:45 PM Maybe you should because when you made this thread; Adam Jones made you look bad.

Thats to saying much. Tebow does suck at being a quarterback. He is a good football player but is an awful QB. McRoberts or whatever his name was got fired for drafting Tebow and giving up what he did to get him

#588 Posted: 5/17/2012 11:33:06 AM At this point if the Orioles do not resign Jones or even consider trading , no matter what their record is at the all-star break ... they are the dumbest organization in baseball. He is one of the best outfielders in baseball, a true 5 tooler, a fan favorite and a leader ..
RESIGN JONES ASAP ORIOLES!!!! |

#593 Posted: 5/18/2012 12:20:50 PM The funny part is that I admitted I was wrong back in 2010. But if bumping this thread after ever hit makes you fellas sleep at night...have at it.

#594 Posted: 5/18/2012 7:29:48 PM I bumped this to shut Papi up because he tried hinting to people in my other thread that I have said hte Orioles were gonna win a ton of games the past 3 years.
So i bumped this so people coudl see what I actually have said. Last year was the first year I said the O's would be competitve but that didnt happen and a lot had to do with Mark Connors ruining every single young pithcer

#596 Posted: 5/25/2012 1:49:52 PM Jones extension was a priority for DD but he was brought on too late to get it done before the season.
Heard its 6 yrs in the 85-90 ballpark. Good deal for both sides. Gotta lock up Wieters now.
They may make an announcement today.

#597 Posted: 5/25/2012 1:57:04 PM That's awesome. I agree Weiters is the next priority. I wonder if this signing and the way the team has played so far may attract other free agents to come here in the future. Hell, maybe some of those trade bait guys like greinke, wandy rodriguez or ryan dempster may want to come here ... almost june and we are still in first ... would love to see a sweep of the royals this weekend.

#599 Posted: 5/25/2012 2:27:19 PM You gotta find a spot for Avery in the lineup. I love that guy ... he is speed guy with pop ... not going get you those homers but will turn doubles into triples and long singles into doubles.
I say give it a shot for andino at 3rd, because betimit serves as good bat but we can play him at dh. my only concern is whether roberts can hit better than andino ... back injuries are tough to come back from at the plate.
