i've been using this whey powder in my shakes in the morning.  it's fine but i want to get away from dairy products altogether except the occasional ice cream.

i'm going to try this one.  the reviews are good.

any thoughts?  anyone used it?

Never tried that stuff Ive been using the same drink for the last 3 years.  Muscle milk cookies and cream flavor.  throw in 1 or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and mix with ice +water or milk whichever you prefer.  I go ice + water and then blend away.  taste like a butterfinger.

yeah, i used to make one that that years ago.  it was pretty good.  i'm going to try a non-dairy option and see if that makes any difference.  the one i tried last time (brown rice protein powder) was terrible.  we'll see if this one is any better.

I never put any milk in my protein drinks.  Just personal preference but never cared for it.  Water + ice blended does the trick.

it taste like brown rice flavored chalk.  it kills the whole shake.

i use coconut milk in my shakes.  whey is the only dairy so i'm going to try and substitute something for that.

If eggs aren't off limits try some egg white albumen, or grab some liquid egg whites from the supermarket (frozen section) ... I go through 2 litres a week of the latter ... use it in omelettes, pour it on my rolled oats with blueberries and protein powder in the morning ... sounds yuck but it makes those meals delicious

no problem with eggs.  i'm about out of my current container of whey protein.  i'm going in a different direction once it's finished.
