#2 Posted: 9/27/2011 8:49:13 AM Dallas fan here. I saw the Dallas v Wash game and Wash....SUCKS
St. Louis has to win some time.
There is no line yet as of this post....but I would take ST. Louis to cover. Wash -2.5? may be the opening line?
ST. Louis gets their first win |

#3 Posted: 9/27/2011 2:44:58 PM slamming Washington here for a couple reasons...
The return of Laron Landry is a HUGE factor for the Redskin's defense. That man was all over the field last night. He definitely scared a couple of the young inexperienced Dallas wideouts last nite. Ask Ogletree, he is probly still in pain from those hits! Lucky for Ogletree, Miles Austin will be healthy next time they play, so maybe he won't have to get nailed again by Landry!
Landry was faking blitzes, falling into coverage causing problems for Dallas. When he did blitz, he was a force exploding off the line of scrimmage. Besides Landry, you still have excellent defensive playmakers in Deangelo Hall, and London Fletcher. Their defense is flying under the radar for right now.
The Redskins could have won that game last night. Yes i know your thinking their offense isn't all there, but i think the public is undervaluing how good the Dallas defense was. Dallas rushing yards allowed is 61.3yds, good for 2nd in the league. The Rams are dead last with 174.3 !!!!!! There is no doubt that their Redskins will run the ball better against the Rams setting up the play action to Moss downfield. Cooley is still a prime target, as he had several key receptions last nite.
The Skins are a bit of a surprise to be 2-1 tied atop the NFC east, but i see them rolling here in the dome against a banged up Rams squad. The Rams have only 3 TD's in three games. They played terrible against Baltimore. And were almost as terrible two Monday's ago against the Giants. Their inability to score in the redzone will be the factor here.
I may seem like a huge Redskins fan right now. I am not. By no means am i saying this team will win it all this year, but i am just a bit surprised with the opening line here.
Take the value with the better team! Im jumping on my early line of Skins +1

#5 Posted: 9/28/2011 2:46:51 PM Dallas fan, and this Skins team has some bite. I knew that before the Dallas game as they have some real talent on the defense. Coming off a close, ugly loss they'll be pissed and raring to go. Also, Grossman can be a choker, but not against a poor defense like the Rams. Washington will be able to run the ball which will open up the passing game. Washington wins this and gets the bad taste out of their mouth. Go Cowboys. ;-) |

#7 Posted: 9/28/2011 11:44:43 PM As I see it all indications are there, for a season saving first win, before their bye week. With the Skin's expected to play back to back road games, on a short week, plus feeling like garbage now that they know they're NOT undefeated material, a letdown is bound to happen here! It personally takes alot for me to bet on the Lambs on any circumstances- so I got to be sure. And I am!!!!!!

#12 Posted: 9/30/2011 2:46:52 AM WAS -2 (1u) - i should've pulled the trigger at the opening number..Was +2, oh well, i'm fading a NFC worst team and bettin a good-Rex game this Sunday. The bigger problem with the Rams is injuries. 5 corners on injured reserve since the start of training camp, pass defenders are being signed off the street. The Skins rank tied for first among NFL teams in third-down defense.
The Rams rank 31st in third-down offense. Redskins 27-Rams 14.

#14 Posted: 9/30/2011 8:43:58 AM We will find out if Wash is for real this week...A good team would bounce back after a tough loss....We shall see...I do think due to the injurys that Wash is the play...Rams secendary is depleated...

#15 Posted: 9/30/2011 11:06:36 PM I've already locked in Washington at +1 but will parlay NO & SD with STL and a few bought points. I've heard from a few people now that any team to lose 3 straight games SU & ATS are a strong play in the 4th game. The Rams fit the bill.
-
Underdog is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings.
-
Redskins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

#17 Posted: 10/1/2011 10:42:01 PM St. Louis +1.5. The public is all over Washington after keeping it close with Dallas in Dallas, but keep in mind that they are rivals and always play each other tough. A live home dog and I expect a close, pound the ball, punt-happy, low scoring game. 16-17 St. Louis.
