It all boils down to Houston's scoring because UAB & Tulane have been trash the entire season for C-USA. They haven't let up on the gas against any weak opponent & I don't see anything changing tonite.  The only thing that factors for me is the "DOME".  Are they capable of putting up those points inside.  Outside of that, you'd have to convince me that Tulane can keep it close.

HOUSTON -35

1) Keenum already has his exclamation point this season

2) it doesn't matter, he's not winning the Heisman, just a fact

3) he can sit the second half this game and still put up ridiculous stats

OK trying not to take up a lot of space but here are some numbers for this game...easier to do this with one game on a weekday but with 3 today I'm only posting numbers for this one and already did for the Ohio game...

Houston 8-3 ats in weekday games

4-1 ats against conference teams

7-2 ats as a favorite

Tulane

2-4 ats against conf teams

3-6 ats when playing with 6 days or less rest

1-4 ats in dome games

3-4 ats as underdogs

First half stats does not point strongly towards Houston as they avg scoring nearly 18 points per game on the road while Tulane allows an avg of nearly 22 points per game in the first half. Houston allows an avg of 17 points in the first half per game and Tulane scores an avg of 13 points per game....I feel kind of uneasy giving 21 points in the first half

Maybe going with over in the first half and Houston on the final. The final only because the numbers seem to be better for Houston at the end.

Not sure Tulane can cover the balance.  Houston may need 71 here to get to over.  If you think Tulane can get at least 17 on the board, the high comes in.

Houston -34

Tread lightly on the total.  I would lean under.

Houston 63
Tulane 10

For a nice nail biter.

20MPH? you realize Tulane plays in the Superdome, thus nullifying the wind

Like the under here....wait to see if the line climbs anymore with the public continuing to pound the over

Houston 56
Tulane 14

Like Houston to cover on the turf indoors but too many points to actually place the bet.

Tulane doesn't factor into this at all. It's all about the Cougs.

Will they cover, probably....

Will it go under, probably...

BUT, there are too many games on the board tonight to go anywhere near theses numbers

My bad on Tulane playing in the dome.  I think I actually did know that.

Prediction stays the same Houston and the low.

Houston 56/62
Tulane 7/13

Tonights 8 is enough out of 5*'s
Ohio  U 1*
Over Ohio U 2*
Houston 4*
Under Houston 2*
VT 2*
Under VT 2*
SD 2*
Over SD 2*

Green Wave are terrible, 34 is alot of points, but Houston should cover and the total stays under 77, IMO .......

Game starts 10 mins early? WTF.Hou 1st h -20 1/2 and the U75.Im thinking that they slow down here a tad after getting up in the 1st half. That 34 pts is just nuts and they'll probably cover it regardless.

Ok at least I got 2 plays so far on this one...

Houston at the half

Houston first half over

Congrats to all the first half winners

I still have Houston final on this one and Ohio final on the other...I'm hoping I can get lucky and hit the trifecta here and hit on Ohio on the other one
