Thank you. I aim to please. It's difficult to stay on topic when smug, pompous and arrogant people clog up any flow of intelligent correspondence. 
I think you may already know this but smugness, pomposity, and arrogance can be outdone by many a thing, including an Alice In Chains tune. Got to love those lyrics.

payola worked...because even if you did pay a DJ for play after the song bombed enough HE COULDNT PLAY IT ANYMORE without losing creditability and street creed...if your record was good DJ didint need cash to out it on.

nowadays, big record labels control airways...you need to be with them to get on radio. I cant even remember the last time I listened to radio by choice..long stopped being an outlet for new exciting music..just corporate backed crap...all genres verging towards" pop music"...
