Oh, garbage. You caught me.

As “ok, move it along” as that scene was I did I find it pretty funny how his wife asked him “do you want my brother to come in and help, he could you started, or I could turn over and you pretend I’m him” as casually as most people would offer a guest something to drink.

Yeah that was pretty funny! Though the same thing when he was saying. The look on my friends face was priceless in that scene.

Game of Thrones is continuing to dominate the ratings with over 1.5 million more viewers than AMC's Mad Men.

Hell, it even had more viewers than one of the Sunday primetime NBA playoff games on TNT.

I'm wondering if they have to many subplots happening. At times it seems like they are just trying to give us an update on each area. Never staying in one area enough to really get into it - except for King Joffery. Decap is on his horizon and I don't need a set of cards to "read" that.

I admit, I was somewhat wrong on the childish. I feel the first season was. This second season has been a dramatic improvement i've found.

Love the show.  I feel like too much is going on though.  Hard to keep up with all of the characters.  In fact I struggle to remember all of their names.  I do watch the extras on HBOGO to help out, and I'll probably read the books at some point.  I just feel like I'm probably missing out on lots of stuff, and I'd even like to study the map just to get a feel of where everything is.

My favorite shows are:

Breaking Bad (only 1 more season left!)
Game of Thrones
The Walking Dead
Parks And Rec
Modern Family
The Office
The Big C

These days you never can tell though. It seems the good/great shows get cancelled way too early and the shows that cater to the lowest HUMANS IQ last for the better half of a decade if not longer.

Sorry had to fix that. Excellent point though. HBO/SHOWTIME has cancelled so many good to great shows, Carnivale and Deadwood being 2 of my favorites.

Have you seen Rome? That was an amazing show.

HBO has since said they regret canceling Deadwood and Rome.

Carnivale and Deadwood being 2 of my favorites

Loved those shows, esp Deadwood. Great actors and the stuff they covered - great. Any particulars on why they were cancelled?

For those of you that have been complaining about the lack of battle scenes: there you go.

I thought episode 9 'Blackwater' was very impressive.

agree

the mighty imp

the cowardly custard aka Jeoffrey

from the book it was difficult to visualize the burning of the fleet, it was brilliant how it was done, very clever interpretation of the book to screen

Pretty good season finale. I thought the first season was better overall, but the second season was still very good.

I'm really looking forward to season 3. If the books are any indication it will be the best season yet.

4.2 million viewers on the first airing. A series high.

I just speedballed the second season in two nights.

It was okay, but that Ned Stark character should still be around to give it some legitimacy.
