Maybe is is a good idea to watch an episode twice, if you record or your provider screens repeats midweek.

Sean Bean, Ned Stark is really missed and this void was immediately obvious comparing opener season one with opener season two.

I too have read the currently available books.

Each season of Game of Thrones is like a 10 hour drama movie.  You shouldn’t go into a drama excepting lots of action the first 10-15 minutes.  Especially when there are so many old characters to catch the audience up on and new characters to introduce.

But I do agree Sean Bean (Ned Stark) is sorely missed.  But hey, what else could they do?  To change what happened to Ned Stark would mean changing the entire story.

In over 500 minutes of television there were dragons on screen for about 1 minute.  How could “all the… dragons” ruin it for you?

There was also very little magic and what little there was all happened off camera.

Ok but even 1 second of a dragon is enough to ruin it for me. If a magical fairy was on the sopranos even for half a second it would prob ruin it or me too. I can't get down with fantasy stuff. Been watching Deadwood from the beginning, no that's a show. Shame that and Bored to death only lasted 3 seasons.

So you watched a fantasy tv show and felt it was ruined by a little off camera magic and dragons on screen for 1 minute?

What did you expect? For their to be no fantasy elements at all in a fantasy tv show?

That’s kind of like expecting a TVMA crime drama to have no killing in it and then when there is you think the show was ruined by it.

How was I supposed to know it was a fantasy show? I didn't do any research on it before I watched it. I just heard it was good and watched it. And yes after seeing fantasy elements I was turned off. Not sure why you are so upset? I guess everyone on the planet doesn't like the show, is that ok with you? You the leader of the fan club or something? Chill the darn out and enjoy your magical show

I would think the fact that dragons are talked about in every episode would be a dead giveaway that this is a fantasy series.

I couldn't care less if you like the show or not. I just find it amusing how you're bitching about a fantasy show having fantasy elements.

It's as asinine as someone bitching about porn for having nudity.

Thought he was next in line for the throne. Thought the Lancasters had some sort of title. First ep was ok. Better then most of first seasons. Have the 2nd DVR'd and will watch tonight. Hoping for something good.

I can't decide if Emilia Clarke looks better as a blonde or a brunette. She looks gorgeous either way.

Game of Thrones is the biggest cashcow HBO has so I expected it to be renewed for a 3rd season, but it did come as a relief when they made the announcement.

These days you never can tell though. It seems the good/great shows get cancelled way too early and the shows that cater to the lowest common denominator last for the better half of a decade if not longer.

Frustrating how the networks love paying garbage prices for "reality" television crap. Sunday is the one day I look forward to watching tv.

Game of Thrones continues to dominate the ratings with over 1,000,000 more viewers than Mad Men.

Pretty impressive for a premium cable show.

I think this past sunday was the best one yet. I've been happy with the 2nd season. Except for the gayfest scene that didn't seem to end

But now I know why it's shooter's favourite show

Haha just playing!
