He is young so I don't need anything to fancy. it will mostly be used for surfing the internet and a few school projects. Looking to stay around the $400 range. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

Last couple laptops I bought were $350-$400. I don't know why people pay double that. Works really good. Mine was a Sony Vaio and the boys got a Toshiba
