#2 Posted: 3/24/2012 10:50:28 PM seems like a coin flip. Is Paris the real deal? Is Judah washed up? Can Paris fight for 12 rounds? will he need to? Too many questions that can't be answered outside the ring for my liking.

#19 Posted: 3/25/2012 12:39:18 AM Paris is being more aggressive in Rd 8, but maybe it's a little too late. Judah still looks fresh and is moving well.

#23 Posted: 3/28/2012 5:10:22 AM Vernon Paris is hot garbage. Posted a long thread over on Boxrec forum (handle: Diddy) discussing this fight last week and how off the line was on this. Judah is no longer a tier 1 fighter but he is easily a tier 2 fighter who can beat anyone not in the first tier. Paris had never even fought a top 20 guy in the division and damn near lost to 90 yr old Emmanuel Augustus. Cant fathom how he was favored over Zab IN BROOKLYN.
Judah needs to stay fighting dudes of this level. If he goes anywhere above the Paulie Malignaggi or Maidana level, he will lose again. The tier 1 level at 140-147 includes (besides Pac/Floyd): Khan, Bradley, Vic Ortiz, Peterson, JMMarquez, Danny Garcia, Devon Alexander, Berto, Mike Jones, Kell Brook. All these guys would beat Zab. Judah can beat anyone else in the 2 divisions. He cant beat any of these top guys. |

#24 Posted: 3/28/2012 1:05:51 PM Zab should fight on friday night fights a couple of times before stepping into the deep water and getting beat, once he gets exposed again he will just be a gate keeper after that. He should fight Holt, Maidana or someone highly ranked but untested (Paris). Rzagza is right I just can't see Zab beating anyone in the top tier, he would have to get lucky to win. |
