#1 Posted: 6/27/2012 5:01:52 PM Would net almost 5k.
Made these parlays back during NBA Conference games, mixing totals, sides and UFC. 3 - 3teamers 1 - 4teamer.
At the time, i was most concerned with Silva, seeing such a low price (-260) drew some red flags, not to mention Sonnen is the definition of a live dog. But after Silva's "break your fuckin face and teeth" rant. I think we'll see one of the scariest performances in Octagon history....and i fear for Sonnens family (not Sonnen, hes a friggin douche) So i'm already marking Silva up as a win
My real worry is the mess that is Forrest Griffin.......i originally saw the price (-300) and opponent (Bum who went 1-6-1 in last 8 fights) and thought no brain-er. but now i'm worried , very worried b/c i want that friggin cash so bad.
What is everyone's opinion on Forrest vs Tito? Is Tito to old? Is Forrest to unpredictable? darn.... a big pile of money rest on the hands of goofball Forrest Griffin....thoughts?????? i need a Xanaz. |

#2 Posted: 6/27/2012 6:38:27 PM The Tito/Forrest fight will have more emotions than many other fights you will ever see. Not the type of fights I like getting heavily invested in.

#3 Posted: 6/27/2012 9:19:17 PM I don't think either fighter can or will finish the other. Going to decision may be best pick. Forest seems to be more interested in this fight than last. But he looked so bad vs rua it was embarrassing. And like sharp said, the emotion for Tito especially will be at a high. This fight, like his fight vs bader was looking like his last, and he l |

#4 Posted: 6/27/2012 9:19:46 PM *sigh agreed, at the time it felt right....gonna drink some Jack Daniels, roll one up with some friends and hope for the best.
It is easier rooting for Forrest than Tito, he's such a lame....... |

#6 Posted: 6/27/2012 9:27:06 PM In my opinion, you have only a 65% chance of winning this. You have a 90% chance of winning on Forrest, but only about 75% chance of winning on Anderson. I know how good Anderson is, but I'm not sure about his knee.

#7 Posted: 6/27/2012 10:26:30 PM A focused, determined Silva is horrifying. The sport has never seen a talent like him (maybe Bones....)
Two Questions on Silva/Sonnen 1) How did Sonnen PEDs use really affect the 1st fight? 2) Do we really know the significance of this knee injury?
@rapistberger84 Whu are you so high on Forrest? (i wanna be optimistic, i picked him) |

Second, don't see how anyone could see -300 on Forrest and be excited about it.
Just 3 fights ago, Tito opened as the favorite. It settled as Forrest as the slight favorite. And the fight was a split decision.
So I don't understand where the -300 line comes from. Especially when you throw in the fact that this is Tito's last fight and he will be as ready as he can be.

#9 Posted: 6/28/2012 11:13:11 AM I have bashed Tito as much as anyone. And said he was done a while ago. I am by no means a Tito fan, and he does suck.
But Tito has arguably looked better than Forrest over the last 2 years.
Forrest's heart isn't all in anymore either. He realizes his time as an elite 205er is gone. And there really isn't anything left for him to do other than get smashed by the elite. If I were to guess, I would say he will retire in a couple more fights himself.

#10 Posted: 6/28/2012 2:13:35 PM No way is Forrest 90% to win. Perhaps 67% or -200, but -300 is unbettable.
As far as questions for Silva/Sonnen: 1) Was Spider truly injured in the first fight?
I think the "extra emotion" works against him, not for him. You'd be ridiculous to think he didn't give everything he had in the first fight (unless he was hurt). He's in the late stages of his career. If he's looking to injure Sonnen, he could be DQ'd. What exactly is he doing differently this time?
I know, I know this time I'll punch Chael in da face

#11 Posted: 6/28/2012 2:20:52 PM Where did Vegas come up with that -300 Griffin number? I originally thought it was because Tito is washed up and basically a 'Paycheck" fighter...
but now i'm thinking, its due to Forrest's large fan-base and a majority of hate that falls on Tito.
I feel dumb for betting so reckless, at the time though.....idk
I still believe 100% Silva will destroy Sonnen, he is too gifted, and after seeing Sonnen fight once, i think all those mistakes will be corrected 10fold. |

#12 Posted: 6/28/2012 4:09:51 PM Well man, I don't want to convince you and don't know your bet exactly, but if you are at the end of a big parlay and feel good about Anderson and sketchy on Forrest, you can obviously throw down a straight bet on Tito. At least you should be able to guarantee a profit.
Good luck.

LMAO! Forrest was never an Elite 205er. A fluke win because of a Shogun injury and a BS decision over Rampage doesn't make you an elite 205er, and neither does running out of the octagon and crying (twice, once vs Jardine, once vs Anderson).
If the fight is close, however, the racist judges will go with the white guy.
THAT'S WHY IT'S -300

#16 Posted: 7/8/2012 11:02:41 AM Forrest vs Tito - If they could measure heart these guys would be fighting in completely different weight classes. Tito took a beating and never went for broke.
Silva vs Sonnen - Silva is a different dude. Period

#18 Posted: 7/10/2012 10:25:40 AM Congrats on your giftwrapped decision-
I bet all my money on the white guy because I knew the racist judges wouldn't let the Mexican get the win over Forrest
