#1 Posted: 3/25/2012 10:08:21 PM England were clueless against the turning ball in Dubai but Sri Lanka do not possess the same class of slow bowling as the Pakis. There is doubt around Broad but still think the Poms are massive here, better prepared than the Lankans who have come off 3 months of ODI cricket.
England @ 3.40 for me

That is probably because you bet on England DRAW NO BET meaning you get your money back if it is a draw.
I got England at +240 go win. If it is a draw I lose

#10 Posted: 3/28/2012 12:58:22 PM not good stats for england fans
England have chased down more than 300 on just three occasions, with a best of 332 against Australia in 1928, and they must defy the history books to better that here. The largest last-innings score at Galle in 19 Tests is just 253, with the best chase a mere 96 (albeit that was achieved with all 10 wickets in hand). |

#11 Posted: 3/28/2012 9:59:51 PM Don't get me wrong the Poms are still long shots but the KP/Trott partnership to end yesterday has at least given them with some sort of chance
But the first hour will tell the tale today

#16 Posted: 3/30/2012 10:12:56 PM personally i'd never back england to win in the sub-continent but then again i've been "traumatised" by years of collapses in the mid - 90's
i still find it hard to see that england are a top side now

Unless they beat Sri Lanka in Colombo next week they officially won't be the best team in test cricket
They way they struggle against the turning ball they don't deserve to be either. Even a pretty average Australian team beat Sri Lanka last year in a test series in Sri Lanka
