#130 Posted: 3/8/2012 5:29:20 AM The Australian cricket team is like the St George Dragons..
They arent a superior team to anyon else, they just sit back and wait for the opposition to beat themselves...
He just took 10 runs off the over, decent differential between runs and bowls...What was wrong with working singles?
Nope, they perform a low IQ shot, just what Australia thrives on...
I cant wait till Australia goes to India and Pakistan....they will all come back down to earth with a thump..... |

This Aus team isnt that good.....They will find out soon enough......Not against the Windies because even at full strength they are a minnow, take away half there squad and Bangladash is better than them....... |

I dont think so.
Lets look at the summer.
They drew 1-1 with NZ.
The drew the T20 with India
The y thumped India 4-0 in the tests, lets face it, India dont give a darn, they couldnt even care less. The chairman of their cricket board said that.
They won the Tri series, 2-1, and won the final game by 15 runs against a Lankan team missing there 2 best all rounders which gives the great balance and theer best bowler was only 50%. I only it is their fault for playing him, but just saying. I only Clarke was missing, but missing those 2 all rounders and a 50% fit Malinga is a much much bigger loss and you only lose by 15 runs?
The Husseys will be gone soon as well. |

Results, form and talent are all that matter and Australia has all three at the moment.
You can make all the excuses and hypertheticals and spin in the world about what this team or that team 'would've' or 'shoulve' done but all that counts is what IS done.
Nobody is kidding themselves that this Australian side is as good as the all conquering teams of recent yesterfar but they're getting results and they're unearthing some talent that suggests more good times are ahead.
I couldn't give a darn what the chairman of Indian cricket says and neither should you because that kind of "we weren't trying we don't care" talk is complete and utter BULLSHIT. It's nothing more than another example of the behind covering, excuses and sookery that is the hallmark of Indian cricket whenever the going gets too tough.
India is the rich spoilt brat of world cricket, where players are over paid and over pampered. But that's not Australia's problem and they went out and did what they had to do.
So while it may for some reason disappoint some some Australians, our cricket team will continue to battle admirably and be highly competitive wherever it goes and whoever it plays against..

#140 Posted: 3/8/2012 11:05:06 PM SL had this match in the bag and Australia said, hell no we won't go, and took it from them.
Bravo.
Now they travel across the pond to take on the domineering American team in the Wal-Mart Obseity Ford F-150 World Championship ODI Test Series brought to you by Red Bull and Smith & Wesson..
Good luck chaps.
