#127 Posted: 5/6/2012 10:51:27 PM Flyers could maybe just maybe win a game if you sat Matt Carle for the end of time

#128 Posted: 5/6/2012 11:02:54 PM Wow...The crying in here. Holy darn. The team was completely overhauled to get a goalie the owner demanded to have, so Holmgrens hands were tied. They had to trade away the faces of their franchise. They lost their Captain and most important player early in the year. They are playing with a bunch of kids who have never been anywhere near a situation like this before. They are coming off a very emotional series against their most hated rival and were given too long of a layoff between series. They lost a couple of very important defensemen late in the year in Meszaros and Kubina, forcing them, to play with a makeshift defense.
I'm expected more after Pitt and am disappointed too but, even if they lose the next game and go out in 5 what they accomplished this season with a brand new team, full of mostly kids and a few new veterans all learning a brand new system, was pretty great imo.
Any fans calling them names and so forth, why don't you just take all your orange and black stuff and go burn it in your friggin yard.and cheer for another team.
The Devils could use some more fans by the looks and quiet sounds of their pathetic rink.
Their will be a few changes and the future is very bright imo.

agree with everything you've said man. flyer fans are in shock because of how they man handled the pens. with all the injuries and changes and youth they have, their lucky to even be in the playoffs this year. oh by the way, the series isn't over yet people. |

#135 Posted: 5/7/2012 5:34:04 AM Well if nothing else, when all is said & done, the Flyers put Pissburgh out to pasture and that's all that really matters from this corner. Hellooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
