#1 Posted: 12/6/2011 6:41:07 AM So I had close to a grand in my bodog account. Most of it was betting
against the Colts and luckily I didn't put any down when they played the
Patriots and finally covered.
Anyway, I had to choose the payout by courier . I couldn't choose the other payout methods for some reason. How long did it take for you get the check? Did you have to
sign for it, or was it in the regular mail?
TIA

#4 Posted: 12/12/2011 10:40:37 AM Bodog is my current book of 8 years and im looking for a new one cuz m sick of some of their crap. Payouts used to be 40 business days so they have improved over the years. Even though they say 15 business days its always faster....however.... just recently I cashed out $1000 cuz I had like $2500 in there and I got an email telling me the check they sent wasnt good and I should destroy it and they would send me a new one. If i did cash it they were going to refund me the fees but still. I think this site is going downhill fast and Im bailing before the storm hits....This is the email I got
Dear Mr. Willis,
We're writing to let you know your recent check for $1,000 won't be able to be cashed. We're sorry about any inconvenience this caused.
If you have the check in your possession, please don't try to cash it. Instead, it'll need to be destroyed. If you've already cashed it and were charged a fee, please let us know. We're going to send a replacement check to you early next week.
If there's anything we can help you with, please let us know.
Sincerely,
|

their idea of payout by courier is probably they will have a stork fly as far as it can and transfer to someone riding a camel who will then take it to someone wearing a turbin and driving a taxi cab and hope that driver understands the directions to your residence. if all that goes as planned u might get ur check and hopefully it doesnt bounce. otherwise u will have to call them again to inquire in which case they will make sure u are aware that this is a major inconvenience to them

#9 Posted: 12/20/2011 11:29:48 AM Consider yourself lucky. Back in September, I withdrew $500 with a direct deposit to my checking account. Figured this was free since it's easier than courier. They charged me FIFTY bucks for the "service"! Yes, it says that on the site and I should have read it. But it's still bullshit to charge for a service that costs them nothing.
BTW, notice that Bovada is a ".LV" site. I looked this up - it's Latavia. Should we be worried about our book moving to Latavia? |

#11 Posted: 12/20/2011 7:53:59 PM Just an update - I got a Fedex tracking number from a Canadian shipper and signed for the package over a week ago.
They offered 2 free payouts by courier. Maybe it was 1 per month. Anyway, cashed the check and I'm good. Tthere was about a 7-day wait for the check to be mailed, and a few days for Fedex to deliver.
