Learned this at a very young age.  Showing up late is a huge pet peeve of mine

I had one professor who would shut the door the minute the class started & if you were 30 seconds late-he wouldn't let you into his class. That  taught me to be on time.

Learned this one in the military. I still small amounts of anxiety if I even think I am going to be late.

At a former employer, we used to have an unwritten rule that anybody who showed up late to a meeting pays the meeting organizer $1 as they walk in, or exit immediately.

We always started our meetings on time, and accasionally you could make a few bucks :)

This is just a habit I got into years ago. I hate it when someone tells you a time to meet and shows up late. It's just being courteaus.

Same exact thing happened to me (military) & I still freak out from even the idea of being late.

Time is one of the few things in life you can never get back - never waste your time or another's.

PT formation at 5:30 and last formation at 16:30.  God help you if you're not in uniform and standing at attention for either one.

The most simple thing you can do , a must- have habit that will instantly improve your life. I can't believe people still don't get it.

one thing i noticed, sometimes if you get to where you need to go really early you can talk to people and get a lot of valuable info.

I think it is really disrespectful to show up to meetings, or to meet people socially, late.

Huge pet peeve of mine.
