I have an intelligent dialog with your "buddy" canosvp and in the civil exchange of ideas about my views on GOP/teaparty strategy to get indys and dems to change their vote from obama in 2008 to GOP in 2012...

Read it through... you might understand where I was coming from... you might also learn some manners and etiquette by modeling canosvp...  It always boggles my mind that between you two posters that are on the extreme opposite sides of the intelligence spectrum that you say the same thing... but I guess that is the benefit of talking points/puppet strings...

But let me try to explain my reasoning in terms you might understand...  remember your post about rehabilitation for convicts in prison is spending their time watching closed circuit cable tv of people enjoying life and the fruits of their labors?

well your idea says that telling people why they should do something... especially when they have a record of doing it before (like voting for obama)...  you are better off showing them the benefits of making the other choice...  showing people the negatives on their choice may result in not voting for obama again, but does not make them want to therefore vote for romney...

really simple psychological principles here...

this thinking error is a critical assumption that results in you card house arguments come toppling down...

Lets break it down mathematically...

lets say that in 2008 obama got 280 votes in the last election and 200 votes for mccain/palin...

so in 2012 GOP needs to get 81 voters to not vote obama and have a 100% turn out of mccain/palin 2008 voters

Or...

get 41 voters who went obama in 2008 vote for romney...

So wouldnt it make sense to focus on trying to sell positives/advantages of romney rather then bash obama?

Why would there be such intense focus away from optimal strategy... Unless... there is nothing to sell...

As an undecided voter myself... I want to know/understand romney better to make a more educated decision on who I vote for... and willing to hear the positives of how romney is going to make things better...

wouldn't want to put the cart in front of the horse

Do you disagree with my psychological and mathematical reasoning behind optimal strategy?

still waiting...I am thinking that this whole dialogue/discussion thing is too challenging for you.... just let me know if it is so that you dont feel "hammered"

dl they can sell Romneys superiority for the economy/ business friendly environment and hammer Obama for his business ineptness at the same time.

You're not an independent voter. And you fell for Obamas gimmicks 4 years ago along with the rest. You can say you're an independent thinker all you want but your post history says somthing different.

At least you're not like stiln and still carry his water unconditionally.

I had a boss a few years ago that had the same thaught process as you. He seemed to think that we had to purchess everything he tried to sell us. ( in terms of what he would say ) he had no clue as to how to convince us, seemed very confused when we questioned him and pressed him.

simply answer the question... not very hard... unless you are avoiding the question because you lack the ability to understand the concepts...  I mean if you could understand the logic/math/psychology you would be able to address the question...

what you call business friendly environment sounds like bush taxcuts and loop holes...

It is funny that you say I am not an independent voter to create strawman arguments...

I voted for obama like many because of the history of reckless and senseless spending of money, resources and lives on the "war against terror" and the "axis of evil"... also the "business friendly" blank checks written to fund the war to set up a money laundry scheme of public money to private money...

This is why I voted for obama because he seemed like a better option then mccain/palin to end the iraq/gwbush "spendaholic addiction"...

for many that was the primary issue and reason why gw bush approval ratings were so poor...

Ken, while your profits are up, I had to forclose on my house because obama cut oil shale processing. And I lost my job while getting ready to have a baby.
You see? Your experience with this president doesn't sinc with my view.
Also your experience doesn't represent the general numbers. I'm glad your prospering, but many people aren't as a direct result of this president.

The Brand that said to the Russian Prime Minister to tell Putin: "This is my last election after the election, I'll have much more flexibility, tell him to give me time." I don't care what context that was said in, if an American President saying that to the Russians doesn't bother you, this country is in deep trouble.

It's not going away.  You didn't build that!!!
The We Built it campaign....

On Monday, 18 “We Did Build This” events will be held across 12 states. There will be events in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, Missouri, and New Mexico to allow small business owners the chance to respond to President Obama’s claim that “if you've got a business—you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen.” More events will follow throughout the week.

Obama: If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that!”

Business owners: "Say what?!!!

Obama: "I said, you didn't build that!"

Business owners: "Oh what do you know!! You can't even fix the economy...bozo!!"

Obama: "You right!...sorry I opened my socialist, food stamp, high unemployment, 16 trillion deficit, redistribute the wealth, tax the rich higher, always going on vacation playing golf, one-term, presidential yap!"

Business owners: "We'll just replace you with someone who has business experience come election time to get this economy booming again."

A business owner send a message to Obama......

Ross Murty likes business, but he doesn’t like President Obama.

And so the co-owner of the Village Corner Deli here agreed to cater Obama’s visit Wednesday — but not before donning a T-shirt blaring the message: “Government didn’t build my business. I did.”

It was a reference to a remark Obama made several weeks ago that his Republican opponent, Mitt Romney, has seized upon to portray Obama as anti-business. Obama, referring to the help government provides to businesses by building roads and providing education and other services, said, “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that."
