#1 Posted: 6/10/2012 10:38:11 AM I know enough about hockey to know that one goalie is quick and the other is a .........LEGEND!!!!
Just think, if the kings wouldnt have gotten those lucky OT wins in NJ, THIS SERIES WOULD BE OVER
Here we come..lets go Devils... |

Agrre fully!
Like Brodeur yesterday, Quick got lucky the first few games.
Yesterday a defenseman took a shot and it hit the Skate blade of Brodeur who didnt even see the puck!
same thing happened to Q in the 2nd game when it hit his blade. |

#5 Posted: 6/10/2012 11:35:27 AM But lets not kid ourselves...Everytime the Kings shoot the puck I can easily see a goal coming. However, when its Devils shooting, I feel Quick will make that save.
Both teams are equal. Can the Devs get the bounces for 2 more games? I doubt it, but Im hoping there is a game 7! |

#6 Posted: 6/10/2012 11:44:02 AM I agree the teams are equal, thats why I say the kings are lucky..Meaning they got the lucky bounces early, but the tide has changed and anything is possible...I do believe if the Devils can pull off a game 6 win..They win raise the cup |

#7 Posted: 6/10/2012 11:46:09 AM Also over the entire series, I feel Brodeur has been just as good as Quick..Not bad for a 40 year old guy... |

#8 Posted: 6/10/2012 4:20:37 PM Just think if New Jersey hadn't of gotten that lucky OT goal in game 7 against Florida they would have been out in the first round.
Retarded statements can go both ways.

#9 Posted: 6/10/2012 4:27:18 PM The Devils have gotten two goals scored by the Kings defenseman Voynov on his own net. The first one forced one of those games into overtime, that was the game where New Jersey had a pathetic 5 shots on net through half a hockey game on their own friggin home ice lol.
The second goal the Kings scored on their own net for your team was the game winner last night. Take either of those fluke goals away and this series is over. Take the first one away and the series was a sweep.
Whoever wins will be the better team and will be called better not even because it makes you feel better.
Two fluke own goals by the Kings on their own net to keep your team in the series and you're calling them lucky?
Give your head a shake

#12 Posted: 6/10/2012 6:52:14 PM actually if the kings win game 6, I will be the first person to congratulate them, but im not agreeing with the bullsh*t remarks that the kings are the better team or that Quick is better than Brodeur..Nobody gave the Devils a shot in hell and now King bandwagon jumpers are hedging their bets out of fear..I know ,I know ...Devils wont win game 6,just like they wont win game 4 or 5.They wont beat the flyers or Rangers..Same old song different day..
Devils win game 6 and they will win the cup... |

#13 Posted: 6/10/2012 6:54:40 PM If you mean me, I can handle betting on a team that lost a hockey game. If I couldn't I wouldn't. If there was something inaccurate in anything I type please point it out for me.
It just gets annoying reading posts from young fans who have no idea how to be objective. I was not slamming the Devils but simply forcing you to look at things a little more honestly.
I stated whoever wins the series will deserve to win and will have been the better team. New Jersey has been better the last couple of games more so in the fourth game where they took full advantage of an over confident, sleepy Kings team.
Even if the Devils lose the next game I give them mad respect for not caving in and coming back and showing a lot of resiliency. If they can be the 4th team to comeback from 3-0 down then they will be the better team and deserve the cup. For now they are down 3-2 and fully deserve to be right in the situation they are in. If you were honest and objective you would agree
And to answer your little betting stab. I will probably be on the Kings for sure but I never lay that kind of juice so it would be a -1 play at plus money odds.
GL with your team and your wagers

#15 Posted: 6/10/2012 7:09:40 PM I understand getting frustrated defending your team. I have been guilty of the same.
Hey your team kicked my Flyers behind. My Flyers were in a bad let down spot due to that hated Pitt series but it's no excuse. The Devils just beat them on every level and I feel fortunate my Flyers even won a game. I have no issue saying that. Kings are really good right now though man, let's not forget that. Huge game next game and the pressure is on them and they are a young team. Your boys are playing with a lot of guts right now.
Should be a helluva game. It was boring until your team won a game so as a fan I am now enjoying watching it.

I honestly dont believe you will be the first to congratulate the Kings... Your a homer coming in here because NJ won two games and seem to have the momentum.....
You already made 3 excuses how NJ shoulda, coulda won the first 2 games.... This is nothing about shoulda, woulda , coulda... When the cup is in NJ, then you can sprout your little homer nonsense.... Until then, I dont think anybody can give a rats behind about NJ or theirnfans coming out of the woodwork.....
GIVE US A BREAK.....

First off, im the one that said NJ would win the cup, look at past post, second what 3 excuses? Third, if you dont like the post, stay out of it..By the way, it doesnt appear your smart enough to understand that I didnt mean I would literally be the first to congratulate the kings if they won game 6..
