sounds like you are on the right track. not many people are.
Disagree. Ultimately it is about the quantity of calories. But the reason quality if important is because it allows you to eat the right amount while still being satisfied. If you eat the wrong stuff you need to eat a lot more to be satisfied and ultimately it will fail.
Big salads with lots of veggies works for me. Romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, shredded carrots, red and green peppers and a little feta with lite balsamic vinaigrette.
