If there is anyone on Covers with enough capital to give AA "a quick pop", I'd love to meet them. $11 billion market cap, 3 month average volume at 30,000,000 shares, I'd say you are a bit off base here .
Full disclosure, I own AA, and if you believe in the economy picking up, it is a great stock to own. If you think the US economy will crash and burn, I'd stay away. It is a great, undervalued, economic recovery play though |

I understand that no one here on Covers will be able to move a single stock like AA. But how would I be off base by saying that is CB's intentions? That's what plenty of people do, they get on message boards and pump a stock as much as possible to get movement out of it. Have you ever been over the the Yahoo message boards? It's pretty ridiculous of all the pumping and dumping going on. So CB gets on here and tells us to "pound that guy" without giving any reasoning on why he likes this stock long-term... looks like he's in it for the short-term if you ask me.
And I am fully aware of how undervalued AA is. I bought it at $7 and $9 bucks in early 2009 after the market crashed... sold it about 5-6 months later at $12.50 for a quick gain. I have no problem with the company. I was just calling out CB for what I think he is trying to do.

just logged in and pretty surprised to see this puppy still around 10$ mark. Definitely a steal at that price. |
