#4 Posted: 1/12/2012 12:03:34 AM Mayweather has set May5th for months now even before Pac-JMM3. There is not reason for Pacquiao to NOT fight May 5th. Absolutely none you can think of. The only reason they are saying they can only fight after May 5th is because Mayweather is contractually obligated to fight May 5th and on top of that the JUDGE pushed his jail sentence back so he can fight on that date.
Team Pacquiao will spin it that Mayweather didn't want to fight and will quickly sign to fight Marquez or Lamont Peterson right away. They have done it in the past with Clottey. Remember how fast they signed to fight him LMAO. They are a joke. |

#6 Posted: 1/12/2012 11:14:53 AM although gbp would probably never allow it, canelo is more than capable of carrying a ppv at this juncture in his career. especially on cinco de mayo.
and a loss to pbf would not ruin his career as he would be competitive unlike pbf's last three opponents. it may even increase his popularity if that's even possible.

#7 Posted: 1/12/2012 12:33:34 PM Don't buy another Pacman or Mayweather fight if you want to see them fight. It's as easy as that. It's the only way you can be heard, whatever your opinion is. Regardless of whom you think sabotaged the negotiations, was stubborn or flat out duping the public. End of story. |

i've been saying this for the last couple years. Don't know why people have continued to pay 60 bucks to watch elite fighters kick the garbage out of guys who don't belong in the ring with them. Only fight I've heard discussed that I would even consider buying other than pac/may is mayweather/sergio martinez, that could be a great fight, but think its unlikely to be made.

#18 Posted: 1/25/2012 12:05:35 PM Vegas told you who the pound for pound best fighter was when they put out a Floyd -145 line when they heard the talks resume. Like it or not, you gotta respect it, Its a fightline in Vegas, regarding two fighters with very little unknowns.. I really wish they hadn't put that out there. This is the closest thing to even money on Floyd as we'll ever see, And believe me, I've been giving up that juice since 2004, and if you wanna know how its treated me, take a quick look at Floyd's record. Again, and again, and again, and this time if it happens. Floyd to win. And I'll be absolutely honest, if these two fight and PacMan can't find Floyd by the 6th or 7th round, his gameplan will go to garbage, and it would suprise me 0% to see Floyd knock him out late. Thats why I have no interest in greatly reducing the juice by taking Floyd by decision.
You heard it here. Clip it, post it, hate on it, whatever. Just remember a little birdy told you so !! |
