New England for AFC. As usual

Everyone is welcomed to post what they think.

Way to early to even form a guess.  Still have the draft, etc.  You'd like to think the Niners have a shot.  GB I don't trust until they fix the defense.  NO...nope.  Atlanta?  Nada.  Chicago would probably be my dark horse.

As for the AFC, I'd think Houston, NE, and Balty would be in the mix.

But look at the last couple of years....it was a team with a less than gaudy record in the NFC that just got hot at the right time.  So much changes over the course of a season.  That is why I would never, ever make a futures bet in the NFL.

I liked the Giants' chances to repeat better before losing Jacobs and Manningham. The Pack should be back also.

Pats and Ravens in AFC with a nod to Steelers (with Wallace).

Not just saying this, I truly believe this as we are building a true team and have only lost 1 starter on both sides of the ball so far.

DETROIT LIONS!

And originally I was picking Houston to go but they lost 2 key pieces on defense and I think that has to effect them.  So I will go with the young defense and TE's and go with New England.  The AFC is garbage right now, I dont see too many teams having a chance to compete.

You do realize the Lions played a 4th place schedule last year??  This year they will play a 2nd place schedule..

I dont think they beat anybody last year who finished with a winning record....

They wont be able to play the worst teams all year

AFC

Darkhorse Cincy need to find a RB.  Defense is solid

disapointment Tie Pittsburgh. first time in my life I see a culture change.  Will Haley be good for Big Ben?  Baltimore, as long as Flacco is the QB no chance, Reed and Lewis hold up again? Baltimore is what Bill's were in the 90's and Eagles in 2000's, 2nd best.

Contenders. Houston, even with Shaub and Williams out still made a run at it.  Solid Wade Phillips D

NE...Bill always seems to get there, just don't have the horses on defense

San Diego...The whole divsion is being overhauled again.  I always like the addition by subtration.  Losing Vance and Tolbets gonna hurt but new playmakers will emerge.

AFC winner Jets... Tebow and Rex, opposites attract

NFC

darkhorse: 'Skins..Gmen usually follow up success with a tank job and we know about the Cowboys

disapointments: Lions the whole league knows they are cheap shot artist and the will never get the benefit of the call.

Contenders:  GB  defense wins championships, Aaron Rogers could be the next Dan Fouts or Marino

San Francisco...not going to sneak up on anyone this year, another dolid defense

Atlanta....To much talent not to make a run

Eagles....Andy Reid is Raputin

NFC winner Seattle...Pete Carrol knows championship football and also will screw his team from getting Matt Barkley

You are 100% correct.  But still GB needs to make some moves on the defense.

Peyton has a ring too, for all his accomplishments only 1 championship seems wrong.  Especially when you think about Big Ben getting a shot a 3rd.
