#1 Posted: 5/14/2012 12:11:25 AM Too much value to pass up here. It's impossible for me to not bite on this one. Do i honestly think that the lakers are the better team here? No not really. I do however think they are more like a two to one dog to win this series, certainly not a 3.5 or 4-1 dog. If you look at the matchups obviously okc wins the guard matchups, it's really no contest between westbrook harden and the laker guards. As for the wing matchup i give the lakers a very sleight edge with kobe over durant, but it's too close to really call. As for the big men, ibaka is a good defensive big man, perkins is decent also, but in terms of offense neither of them gives much of anything in the paint, and if the lakers are going to win this series this is where they will win it. This is not going to be an easy series for either team. Artest was able to lock down andre miller and galinari, but no he will not be able to completely lock down durant, not gonna happen. Should be fun to watch, honestly i see this going 7, and because of that i see no reason not to take a shot on the dog here. |

Los Angeles Lakers are so overmatched on every spot it's unbeliveable, they are comming from a 7-game-series and they looked horrible. Oklahoma city have fresh legs, not only do they have fresh legs, they have a bench that is incredible, not only do they have an incredible bench but all of their players can run around with Los Angeles. These Oklahoma guys are sooooooooo soo soo athletic, they can run, shoot, jump the night lights out. Oklahoma will be all over Los Angeles throwing them around in this series. There is a higher chance for Oklahoma to sweep Los Angeles than there is for Los Angeles to win the series.

#5 Posted: 5/14/2012 1:27:55 AM And also, you said that "This could be a 7-game series" Even if it will be, which i dont believe will be the case, then los angeles probably will be a 4/1 - 5/1 or 6/1 dog. No value in Los Angeles at all, those money are gone.

#7 Posted: 5/14/2012 2:06:59 AM Not bad value, but I would probably look to pass to a series price and maybe look to play ML in game 2 on Lakers and buy out if things feel weird at half or in-game.
I feel like Denver exposed a lot of the Lakers major weaknesses and all while that series was going on OKC was sitting by studying these two. HCA is huge in this series.
I question whether Bynum and Gasol can have the rebounding and size edge like they did with Denver. OKC is a much better jump shooting team and can bury them quickly. This is what sometimes leads to elbows thrown.

#9 Posted: 5/14/2012 8:23:43 AM Think OKC rolls them. The game's will be fun to watch though I think they'll only be 5 of them. |

#10 Posted: 5/14/2012 10:13:42 AM still early to take which side, but i'm leaning thunder only for their much rest. need to check the line, the movement, detailed stat, but thunder will win this game. the thing is if they can cover, and i think they can cover. i scarcely take 1st game of any series, but this game is so attractive that i can't pass. DEF thunder ML, probably cover. |
