As a former college student who used the rhythm method for birth control for OVER A YEAR.....and got lucky.....I can safely say today's youth is 34 times more educated than I was.  I never even had the sex talk with my parents.  I never knew that you could get a girl pregnant even if you don't juice inside her.

I have two nieces that are in the 16-17 age range and they are 50 times more educated than I was at that age when it comes to sex/birth control, etc.  Granted, a lot has to do with parents being involved, but I am absolutely convinced the abortion rate has gone down because people are more informed.

None.

Ktrain,
thanks for the links.

What I find funny is that in all 3, studies demonstrating just the opposite are mentioned.

I also am terribly unconcerned with the results from Russia & Spain.

I agree with this actually. I think that I could find an equal amount of studies backing both sides of the argument if I were to look hard enough. These were the first three I pulled up.

I'm not sure any conclusion could be made from the correlation between abortion rates being higher or lower from birth control. It seems to depend on your motive and what group is conducting the poll/study.

I should re-phrase my last post.

I could probably find a study supporting either side of the argument about contraception/abortion depending on my view/side of the topic.

abortion became necessary because idiots like you fight funding for planned parenthood to educate people on how to CONSISTENTLY and CORRECTLY use contraception.

you really need to stop quoting so many articles that only serve to prove my point.

There are more then this where the aliases and alias supporters got caught selectively omitting parts of quotes....

funny that this pattern arises again...

AHD... you are talking about numbers, and statistics that reflect reality...  you have already lost the partisan lemmings when you start talking facts...

Er, I didn't "selectively omit" anything given that I provided a link for people to read.

Further, as you can't seem to understand, the poster pretended that abortions were necessary because people don't have access to birth control. When that was demonstrated to be false, he was left sputtering that they aren't educated enough to use it. Or something.

Finally, AHD posted no "number or statistics" that reflected anything, given that in no posts did he post "numbers or statistics"

So you just need to quit while you're behind and stick with calling everyone an "alias" since you've beclowned yourself here.
