Will not pay attention to the judges and will go for the better fighter here.  I see a late round stoppage.

You have lost 50 units on one fight, now you bet your life savings on Lee.

How about when you lose, you stop thinking all of your picks are locks, that you bet your life savings on. You would have been broke along time ago if you have any real money on the line. The only bets you have won are Mayweather (anyone can pick an undefeated fighter to win) and Bradley (that is one of the biggest fixes in boxing history).

I like how you pick every underdog.

I haven't been in here in a while but I guess some things never change.

Should be a competitive fight but Chavez is better at everything. HE actually looks like he took training camp seriously

lets forget about the attack on underdog gambler jerseyboy for a second,     first I bet on chavez and stated that he was a level above the very much overrated lee,    but the fact is that if he refused to take the pre fight piss test and their has been no word if he pissed post fight,  if he did not take the post fight test, then obviously he is still cheating,  he has tested positive before and to me he is still using illegal substances and in reality if a fighter refuses to piss then the fight should first off not even be allowed to begin ( the commisions should let the fighters know this well before hand, if you do not piss, you will not fight)  and in this case they said he would do it post fight and if he did not then the fight should be ruled a no- contest. you simply should not be allowed to just skip the drug testing,

it's all about money, rather then the integrity of the sport and in reality it has almost always been this way. A national commision is the only thing that will put a stop to all of these corrupt decisions and skipped drug test,  promoters stealing money from the fighters and so on, eventually I do think that it will happen, hopefully sooner rather than later

i believe kevin iole tweeted he did take the post fight test.

chavez looked great last night. nowhere near how he appeared against zbik and rubio.

last nights version of chavez has a good chance of beating the martinez that showed up against barker and macklin.

did he take it or not?   darn it,   I am interested in chavez vs martinez,  If the chavez camp was smart they would take 1 more fight and then fight martinez,  the longer they wait the better for them,   but in reality martinez to me is highly overrated and  chavez is a B+ type of guy or A- at best,  if it is chavez's next fight I most likely will not bet on it,  but if the fight is 1 year from now I will be all over chavez as martinez has a style that is not fit for a man his age and every month that goes by is an advantage to chavez,  in the end I think this fight will happen sometime around this time next year and at that time I will bet heavy on chavez jr

well said. i think sm is highly overrated. i think prime joppy was as good as they were the same size with similar styles. i watched the fight twice last night. once live on the hbo feed and then a second time on the repitition box azteca here in mexico after all the drunk mexican fans departed. jr impressed me more on the replay. the way he convincingly stepped in with both the left and the right, this is not the same fighter who fought zbik 12 months ago. i didnt put much into the rubio fight as he had trouble making weight which i believed compromised his performance but one would have to be extrremely biased not to give jr credit and to consider him a threat to defeat martinez, who i dont think at this stage has enough to keep jr. off of him.

i hope they fight in september and would love jr. at plus money.

chavez looked incredible last night.

you would have to be ignorant to think otherwise.

I have always though that martinez was overrated and now that he is getting older.......   I just think he came around at the right time when he was at 154 the division was thinning out,   he is lucky he did not come around during tito trininda's time at 154 as he would not be able to get into the 6th round with trinidad,  vargas, winky wright, would of beaten him as well,   garbage I think ike quartey would of jabed his head off at 154, now at 160,  garbage hopkins, would shut the man down completely,   he simply came around at the right time,  when boxing was looking for a new star so to speak,  he is a good fighter,  but a top P4P  guy, garbage, has the world lost it's friggin mind?  overrated all day  and for people who mention his name in the same breath as the great CARLOS MONZON, (also from argentina),   well they need to go and lie down for a very long time and when they wake up go and try to become an expert at something else

Sergio might be screwed now, if they fight in Texas, I will play Chavez. I think Sergio is better than Jr., but Jr is bigger and stronger, that will be the difference in this fight (along with being in Texas and Top Rank connection). Sergio would have to KO him, which would be hard given the size difference, odds should be interesting.
