I dont know how many of you are old enough to remember Ali during his years of the rope a dope.

I keep hearing how many more punches Manny threw.  Ali would let guys just punch and punch and his opponents would always throw more punches and more power punches but Ali would win the rounds.

Was that what Bradley was doing?

I AM NOT comparing Bradley to Ali, I just want to know how many of the punches were quality punches that Manny landed.

Bradley threw more punches. Manny ALWAYS lands the cleaner shots, as that left hand is easily noticeable. Bradley did a lot of solid bodywork.

Close fight either way. Anyone saying otherwise is literally foolish.

Manny landed significantly more shots. Mannys shots were significantly more damaging.

It wasnt a close fight. There may have been 4 close rounds.

You have it wrong...Bradley threw more punches but Manny landed a higher percentage and connected with more power punches.

The first 4 rounds were exciting because Bradley had confidence. He was aggressive and was throwing quality punches. He wasnt landing many but they were controlled. Manny was able to counter those punches with power punches that were connecting. During those rounds Bradley was dominated and if the fight continued like that Manny wouldve knocked him out.

The 5th round Bradley changed his game plan. He lost confidence and wouldnt get near Manny. He ran! The last 7 rounds of the fight he ran!! Bradley was taking a beating. He was standing up right and throwing poor punches when he was in range. Manny was able to counter the majority of those weak punches with power punches to the head.

Maybe Bradley won the last few rounds because there wasnt much action. Bradley ran and Manny let him. At that point the fight was basically over and Manny had it in the bag.

Complete BS! I love boxing and Ive watched the majority of the main fights the last 20+ years. Bradley lost and he knew it. When you watch the fight you will see the result was completely wrong!

Ali could dodge pretty much every punch thrown at him. From watching his videos he was a dancer that could move around a punch w/o trying to block. Bradley got punched, hit, smashed, call it what you want, but Pac threw and landed a lager percentage. If Bradley was letting Pac throw more, he should have dodged more.
Pac owned the center of the ring, and the fight.
Anyone who handicapped this match had Pac going the distance. For Pac to knock out an opponent who's heavier then he's use to fighting could have been tough.
3 outa 4 fights Pac goes the distance, the other he KO's Bradley.

The first part of what you said is kinda true.  I am talking about the rounds where he just sat against the ropes and let the other person just swing away and hit him in the arms, body, and some head shots.  Those were legitimate punches and power punches.  But they were not effective even though they would have counted as punches and power punches.

You can throw punches and power punches and throw 100+ more than your opponent and they dont mean anything if they are not effective.

So you're saying that Bradley won this fight because he took more of a beating and didn't hit the deck?
Please tell me why you saw Bradley as the winner of that fight?

115-113 is completely legit.....pac covered up with a high guard anytime bradley threw and this would happen for 2 miunutes...then pac would swing wildly and land a few clean punches in a flurry that go back in a shell....HBO is biased.  Brian Kenny had it 115-113 Bradley.

Well he was throwing wasted punches if he kept throwing into a guard. Funny how you use the word "wildly" when Pac's percentage of landed punches was higher (almost twice). I think the opposite of you. Pac wore him down and controlled the fight, while throwing and landing more punches. So even if he covered for 2 minutes, he still put on a better performance. Pac showed up to fight. Bradley showed up to take punches and not get KOed. Bradley had the advantage going into the fight. He was going down in weight, Pac was going up. Bradley has fought guys that are bigger then Pac.
You mad Pac was the better fighter?
