Went to the boat this morning for the first time in a while. Played for an hour and was ~ even for what I bought in for $100. The table was $1-$2 no limit.

I had A K off suit & I was first to bet and checked. Checked all around, Turn came AA6 (two diamonds). I check again, 3 or four guys check and the guy that's been trying to bully the table goes in for more than I have - I'm happy to call this prick.

turn in 10 clubs river jack of diamonds

Bullshit chasing flush beat my 3 aces.

If I would have bet hard pre flop - probably could have taken it.

If I bet post flop hard, maybe they all fold.

I checked knowing the "bully" would try and run me off which he did & I frickin got beat. I'm thinking I played it fine - just got f'd by the poker gods, but any insight would help.

Thanks

Worst beat I took was live . Holding 4-4 I call a mid raiser . flop comes 4-A-4 . Nice right. Turn comes 8 . River comes A. Ofcourse guy is holding pocket aces to my flop 4-4-4-4.

Not even a bad beat cause 6-6-6-6 has to be beat

Rolled

dealt 10 10.   2  others and me. I just call25 and 1-2 no limit. had about $500 in front me. The kid next to me is a loose canon. flop 10-6-2 rainbow. He leads out $100 (Touch more than pot.) Next guy raises to $250. I go all in happy to take it down. Kid thinks for like 10 seconds and calls (Figure Aces or kings) next guy who I later finds out had Kings folds. The kid flips over 8-8 and is stunned I have 10's. The you guessed it runner runner 8's for about 1200. I

I have not been back to WinStar since. Thinking about going this week

4rth hand of a heads up 100$ sng.

I get 77, hero calls my small raise preflop. Flop goes 272. Hero bets, I call. Turn 8. Hero bets, I raise, he goes all in....AND BOOYA. 77722 lose to 2222!

Exact next game at 100$ sng Heads up.  6th hand, I flop a straight, hero runner, runner flush!

And finally, I make it to the final table of a 20$ tournament. 10th place gets 60$ first place 1500$.  I finally get my first pair of Aces. Hero goes all in. I call. Asswipe went all in with KJ of hearts. Flop AH8C10D!!!! Runner Runner Flush.

My trip Ace of hearts allows him to runner runner a flush!

NOt a big deal but this happened in 3 days!

cash game , i was 18 at the time. had a hot night and was up . went heads up with a huge well known player from the area. had pocket aces, did a raise 3x's the blind ,was playing very passive and tight the whole night, guy didnt appreciate it so he re-raises x6's i push all in and he goes "im feeling lucky" so he goes.

AA vs 33

flop comes

A-2-2, thinking whoop thats the dagger

turns a 3..ok well he has a thin chance

river a friggin nother 3...wow never in my life have i seen that

worst beat ever for me personally. i went home smoked the most pot i ever smoked drank the most i ever drank and still till this day makes me hate poker

So what would be the worst beat?  How about...

You have pocket aces.  Nice raise, you're called.  He has 10d-10h.  Flop comes Ah-Ac-Kh.  You bet, he raises, you go allin, he calls.  Turn comes Qh.  River comes Jh.  You lose quad aces to a royal.

If I have this right you'd have been 861-1 to win after the flop.

Mind you, I haven't seen this, just trying to imagine the worst beat possible.

Yeah, that's an 861-1 hand I thin, right?  Unless he had a straight flush draw, the only way you could lose is if he pulled quads.  2/42 then 1/41.  That's pretty sick.
