#7 Posted: 4/1/2012 10:49:45 PM THE classic is Chevy Chase as the HR guy doing "word association" with Richard Pryor as the job applicant in SNL's 1st season. they probably couldn't run it on broadcast TV anymore in this "politically correct" society
and ANYTHING with the Czech Brothers or Mr Robinsons Neighborhood is STILL better than any of the current crap |

#9 Posted: 4/2/2012 10:52:55 AM The first Matt Foley and More Cowbell are my all-time favorites. person in a Box and MotherLover are also up there. Justin Timberlake probably has the top 5 skits over the last 10 years all by himself. His comedic timing is very good and better than most of the current cast. Others that make my list that haven't been mentioned here:
Justin Timberlake Immigrant Tale:

Will Ferrell, Sean Hayes and Jimmy Fallon working at Jeffrey's:

#24 Posted: 5/1/2012 12:12:52 PM Here are some that havent been mentioned yet:
Japanese game show with michael myers. Wow, his japanese accent sucks but he really learned all the words. Alec great, farley at his best, garafolo is the only weak spot in the skit.
CHopping broccoli with dana carvey stands out as a classic during the lean years.
Chocolate babies and seabird Password in the old years.
And of course, cheeseburger cheeseburger with belushi and french fries with chris farley.
In recent years, the one that really stands out as brilliantly written and performed is the justin timberlake on an immigrant ship to ellis island. It will probably never be a classic, but its a gem.
By the way, justin is the best host. He should be closing every season. He, along with hugh jackman, are some serious triple threats....song, dance, acting.

#25 Posted: 5/3/2012 8:33:55 PM Il Returno de Hercules, starring Bill Murray.
I can't find this skit anywhere, with the exception of torrent sites. Netflix streaming doesn't have it. Every time I find a link for it posted on a forum, the clip has been removed.
It's difficult to beat Pete Shweaty and his Shweaty balls, but this one comes close. Good luck finding it. All I can get a hold of is the transcript. |
