What do you guys think is the state of horse racing is today and how is the attendance and the major tracks over the nation, Such as Belmont Park. Churchill Downs and Hollywood Park and so on. On a weekend such as a Saturday. Do these tracks draw big crowds .YOUR COMMENTS PLEASE.

Attendance at the small/quality meets like Saratoga, Keeneland, Delmar is fantastic. On big race days you will see fantastic crowds at Santa Anita, Monmouth, Belmont, etc. The problem is there are so many tracks/races that the majority or tracks see small crowds, small fields, and poor handle. But in the end, it's all about the money, especially with casinos pushing many of these smaller tracks.

Its a friggin mess! This industry has been shooting itself in the foot for decades. Been capping horses for 28 yrs and its a disgrace what has happened to the once sport of kings!
