That's the nature of web proxys, it's always a cat and mouse game. You are just looking at hitting these to make deposits. Look at the top left and you can sort the list many different ways. I always use the uptime rating.
Now if you want to invest in some good IP software kick out about $40 or $50. But I prefer the free route and to use someone elses proxy than the IP software. Although for certain things I use IP software and it sounds like Rinnacle. |

No, VPN's are secure tunnels you can use to connect to other computers remotely, such as your home computer or your work computer. Most VPN's have pretty much been put out to pasture by Logmein, Remotepc and such services. When I am on the road I use Remotepc. So matter where in the world I am I always using my home computer for everything I do. I don't trust using anyones computer or using any wi-fi. I keep things very secure always. Or at least as secure as you can get. |

#11 Posted: 7/28/2011 7:20:39 PM Ive never heard of Rinnacle, it must be new.
Aside from that, doesnt Rinnacle check current IPs in addition to the deposit issue?
I know 5 Dimes does. I helped my friend set up an account, and when I tried to get a referral bonus they rejected it because they linked my 5D account with his when I logged in to help him out. |

Not really. Mainly when you sign up and sometimes when you take out. That's why it's real important to have very good IP software when you sign up. |

#13 Posted: 8/8/2011 9:02:55 PM Hey Lipps, how do proxy's servers work? I know it connects you from another IP adress. What about the Mac adress cant a website still track that? Also how safe is to connect to a proxy free server online? Lastly if you buy proxy software what how safe and effective is that compared to a free version on the internet?
Thanks |

You answered your own question on how they work.
MAC addresses are a Layer 2 protocol, so you don't need to worry about that, because a website over the internet doesn't get that info anyway. They use your IP
I wouldn't use a proxy server run by some stranger for any serious transactions, but that's me.
I would think the only difference between the paid and free is you might trust the company supplying the paid version more than a random strangers proxy server. |

#15 Posted: 8/9/2011 2:53:41 AM Thanks jack. What are some good IP software and how much do they cost?
Also using a proxy. Is it possible to discover your IP address or the destination where you are using your computer from?
Also what is a "Layer 2 protocol"?

#16 Posted: 8/9/2011 10:17:15 PM I haven't really used any IP software, have no real need for it, so can't really recommend anything. I think Lippsman can give you much better choices on that.
As long as the proxy is doing it's job correctly, it won't show your IP address where you are actually using your computer from.
Layer 2 is part of the networking model, you can google "OSI network model" if you want to learn more about it. |

If your using remotepc your still using a computer and some form of internet connection to access your home computer.
Do you carry a laptop or tablet with you and use a data carrier(verizon/sprint/att)?
