I'm 3-6 in one league, yet 2nd in my division, 1 game back. I lead the league in scoring, yet teams I face become superstars (i.e. Marshall and VJax last week).

Need to make an adjustment which is benching Djax, friggin bum is a sad excuse for a WR and his sadness is costing me week in/out.  Here is my lineup and my options to replace Djax.

Lineup - 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 Flex, 1 TE, K, D

QB - Fitz or Cutler
RB - McCoy
WR - Welker
Flex - Forte and Empty
TE - Daniels or Celek
K - Janikowski
D - GB

Bench: Barber, DJax, Burress, Heyward-Bey
Waivers: Bennett, Moore, Gaffney, T. Smith, J Simpson

Thoughts on how to adjust my team to sweep my last 4 games. I have a strong team, but have lost 4 in a row.

Thanks in advance.

Is this a 12 team league standard scoring? Assuming it is maybe look into dealing Fitz and DJax for your other flex spot. Roll the dice with Cutler the rest of the way. I don't know how much you will get for it but your bench leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe throw in Daniels if you have to as well.

Just ideas.

start Burress this week against the Patriots awful pass defense in your flex spot with forte.  Start Daniels over Celek this week.  Fitz has been struggling and I would start whatever QB has the more favorable matchup.  Jerome Simpson is a quality receiver someone might be interested in picking him up.  In my opinion you need to find a team that a good starting qb and a good qb on their bench.  This team must also be looking for a receiver.  I don't know what you will get for DJax and Fitz/Culter trade but you need a QB upgrade in order to compete.  Fire away with offers maybe someone will bite.  Good luck.

Yeah I agree on Plaxico.  Jets have a fairly soft schedule ahead with regard to pass defenses, and Sanchez seems to be building tons of chemistry with Plax.  Even though Holmes caught a TD last week, it looked like Sanchez was throwing to Plax more often.

And it seems like you should be able to get a better QB from someone if you do offer DJax and Fitz.  Even though DJax has been struggling, he's still a big name.  I agree with Kazual... make an offer out there to someone who needs a WR, and see if they bite.  Eagles don't have a favorable schedule ahead, so not sure if DJax will ever pick it up.  I traded him for Turner 4 weeks back and feel great about it so far.

Thanks guys, couple more pieces of info:

1. Trade deadline has passed.
2. Just picked up Helu off of waivers
3. it's a ppr league

So it's seems it's either Helu or Buress, who do you think?

This is a 12 team league, very tough to trade, no clear leaders in our league, everyone is around .500.

I've been running with Cutler lately, and picked up qb's on waivers based on match ups. QB's only get 4pts for TD's, so Cutler getting me 15pts/week is pretty decent considering other than Newton/Rodgers the avg qb scores around 18ish.

Any more thoughts? Seems like Buress is the answer, maybe Helu???

Thanks again.

ppr hmm.  Well helu did well last week but can you count on this guy?  He plays in the backfield for the Redskins so that is a crapshoot usually.  No one in the Pats backfield will have be able to handle Burress and it is a Sunday night rivalry game.  I like Burress but I can see why you have interest in starting Helu.  Tough call.  Go with your gut and roll the dice.  Oh yeah and I never have trusted Cutler....

Kazual12 - Would you consider picking up McCoy this week vs. the Rams?

Other options are: Ponder, Jackson, Gabbert, Beck, Moore or Skelton? Yes, I know, great options lol

vs. Det on MNF, Cutler earned 13pts, not great, but the bears played poorly.   I took a flier on Peyton before the season started and have been struggling to find a replacement for him and DJax.

thanks again

update: went Fitz and Burress. Down by 5pts with GB D tonight, he has noone left.  D scores 1pt for sacks, 2pts for fumble or int, no points for yardage, etc. GB has yet to score less than 5 pts all season, does my bad luck tonight continue and GB scores 4 or less? lol

also cut Cutler, going to play QB matchups every week.

don't think I'm on drugs, but what are your thoughts on Skelton? He's 2-0 and has scored 15 and 21pts in his 1st two starts.
