yeh, ronnie was great?

didn't the deficit triple under reagan? Oh thats right, deficits only matter when its a Dem president

didn't the debt grow at a rate faster then GDP? oops, once again a Repub president so we can all act as though it never happened

greater then 10% unemployement. Geez, reagan would have loved todays rate (insert brainwashed comment about fudging the figures)

a falling in real wages

record increase in govt spending

a record number of personal bankrupties, farm foreclosures, bank failures

biggest one day drop in the dow

implementation of socialist polices. Oh wait, its not called socialism when the lower and middle classes give money to the rich

Aiding and abetting Saddam, bin Laden and the Taliban? No need to mention his support of facist regimes in Central and South America, or his support of the Khmer Rouge and aparthied in safa. Grenada? How many democracies did he destroy and inserted dictatorships?

I could go on, but I'm laughing too hard at how great ronnie was. Yeh, the world is a better place because of ronnie.

I try hard not to respond to alias'.

But since you once were a solid poster around here, you should dig up the thread where I silenced Wall and get a viewpoint besides what you found googling "Reagan Evil"

BTW,
How's life down under treating you?

Try harder next time

First off you make the same puerile mistake that many hardcore leftists do (not calling you a hardcore leftist btw). Your view is almost exclusively domestic and thus very narrow. Which is to say, quite incomplete.  You refuse to view the man beyond what is "important" to you. Easy mistake to make if you understand human psychology. Your one reference to foreign policy is laughably one sided and displays either willful ignorance or to be blunt, a lack of historical knowledge.

Its late in my slice of the USA. To be continued....

Ronald Reagan the best president in modern times.

In a recently released Harris poll asking respondents who they consider the “best president since World War II,” Ronald Reagan is cited by 25 %, well ahead of Franklin Roosevelt at 19 % and John Kennedy at 15% ...Obama 4% and Carter 2%

He made Americans feel proud of their country again.......
