The Oats will boost your energy......... moreso than the eggs. And a half day of fuel/energy. Ole skool training tip. Surprised you are not already on them.
One thing I also do is pre cook a few days of stuff so have it on hand. Egg salad hard to beat. If I cook soft boiled eggs, I'll go ahead and cook the whole dozen up. Make hard boiled out of the rest of them. Either leave them as hard boiled or egg salad for later. Egg salad is good 24/7..... I go ten minutes on the boil for hard boil using the cold water.
Also, why cook one pound of bacon when can cook 2-3 pounds instead. Even if not eating bacon, can cook it while doing it something else and have it on hand for a few days.
I don't lift much but still lift for a month every six months or so. And when I do, I get hungrier than hell nonstop. And that pre-cooked bacon and egg salad are life savers later in the day.
