#5 Posted: 3/27/2012 1:46:03 AM Fried, where do you put traps in your routine?
Quad day is the only place it seems. Give me an educated answer.

No clue and an by no means a weight lifter.
In fact, havn't stepped foot in a gym in a few months.
I'll hit a gym a couple times a year for maybe a month each trip but everything else is just basic track garbage.
For traps........... pretty easy muscle to work tho. Just shrugs.
I'm old and don't need to hit each body part that often anyway. But, but, but..... I love traps and hit them at a couple different angles when I do hit them. Can't beat by starting off with a shoulder press, some lat raises and finish with some shrugs. Maybe a T bar or find a bench press and shrug that. |

#8 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:40:49 PM My body is different. I can't hit each body part very often or I get tiny.
Right now, still on the pullups/pushups........... and pretty complicated leg routines...... which is mostly plyo. |

#9 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:46:16 PM And only really do pullups/pushups once a week. Could do them more often but won't see any benefits in terms of muscle gain. More stamina/endurance, but no muscle gain. |

#10 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:47:44 PM Basically........ have a high metabolism and have learned that if lift less frequently, actually carry more muscle. |

#11 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:50:05 PM Due for a trap workout tho............. the angles on the kettlebell shrug handles is pretty good IMO. Really don't even need that much weight to flare the traps. They get hit a little with pullups. |

#12 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:51:23 PM Basically............ 10 months out of the year for the last couple years..... Upper body is basically pullups/pushups...... and really can't find any reason to do more than that. |

#13 Posted: 3/27/2012 11:56:53 PM Workouts priorities over here are...........
Agility Flexibility Core Legs Body Fat % Stamina
If in a gym, would be doing deadlifts and leg sleds but I can hit legs on a track.
