Put a 3 lb bottom round roast in the crockpot this morning at 9AM.  

Cooked in there with 2 bottles of guiness, one chopped onion, carrots, garlic and I added mushrooms later.

Am going to serve over egg noodles.

Smelling this stuff and not being able to eat it for another 2 hrs is killing me.

Pot roast kicks so much behind it isn't even fair to other meals.

Forgot- crockpot on LOW for 10 hrs.  I bet you can't have just one bite.

Just bought a crock pot today. Ive eaten so many good things that have come out of that so I had to get my own. Determining what first meal I make tomorrow is the hard part.

friggin A right put some shrooms in there.

Some people will girl about the shrooms but they will still lick the plate.

Shrooms

Actually, I keep my pot "clean"........ no shrooms but love shrooms.

Maybe a sprig of Thyme in there.

sorry, no picks.  that stuff went fast.

i also love to take a bite out of a jalepeno then drain all the juices and seeds onto my portion.  im making a 10 lb roast next time

I have never made a pot roast with guiness, but it's a damn fine idea.

I should add this to the crock pot recipe list...  I only use ti for tortilla soup and chili right now...
