#1 Posted: 6/25/2011 11:55:15 AM I've been playing a lot of props lately in sport select baseball. I've noticed that players who are on the DL are often listed as hitters in wclc props. As you may know, if a player doesn't get at least 1 at bat in the game, the multiple is set to 1.00 x $. This also happens in the event of a rained out game, or a game that isn't completed.
How can this help you? Well specific to props, you are obliged to select 3 games on a ticket. It may be the case that you like 2 props hitters but can't decide on a 3rd. You could take a chance on a hitter you aren't 100% comfortable with, or you may chose to take a game in which you know 1 of the prop players won't play. Certainly, the pay out odds are reduced, but your chances of winning will also go up.
A good example of this is Shin-soo Choo today for the tribe. He's on the dl, but listed in the props for wclc.
