#327 Posted: 8/10/2012 1:07:38 AM This game is a coinflip, Geelong have been great and West Coast are sure to bounce week after last weeks abysmal performance against Freo. Think Geelong's good run comes to an end and Eagles get up in a nailbiter. Not game to take either side with a goal headstart or handicap so...

#331 Posted: 8/10/2012 6:39:54 PM Kos listed at FF, it shouldn't be too wet and windy in Melbourne this afternoon and Saints talls should stretch the Demons backline, plus Kos is likely to take a few Saints players out, namely Milne and Riewoldt so he can cash on this too.

think freo are underrated and adelaide overated but it is not a good spot for freo off the blowout win. still thinking about playing freo +16.5. if they play as well as they have been i think it is nearly 50/50.
like the swans bet.should be windy if not wet so hard to win big. swans should be up for this and going the better.
so many players out in GC v GWS hard to know what will happen. GWS have looked much better than GC the last two weeks and the ins and outs more or less even each other out IMO, however GC look much better on paper to me and it is hard to see who is going to kick goals for GWS. that said probably play GWS +20.5 and under.
Brisbane Carlton over looks a play. Carlton back line looks ordinairy so can see Brisbane kicking a few goals and Carlton line up looks like it has a few goals in it.

#335 Posted: 8/11/2012 11:41:01 AM Port haven't played in Launceston since 2008, weather forecast is fine down on the inbred isle. I think Hawks could crack the 200 point winning margin here.

#338 Posted: 8/11/2012 10:45:02 PM Port had never played at Skoda until last week and lost to the Giants, now they are playing the Hawks, the best offensive side with the highest percentage, who are a game behind the top 3, coming off a loss to their nemesis in the Cats at their home away from home. Hawks will be just as fired up as Port.
Port's issue wasn't Primus, they loved him, they are simply undermanned and don't have the resources as some of the stronger clubs.

#345 Posted: 8/18/2012 5:20:29 PM Reckon there could be two big wins on the cards today, no I'm not drunk, at these odds and these positions I think it's worth a shot.
Swans to bounce back off a close loss, they thrashed Bulldogs earlier in the season who weren't in as bad shape as they are now. Swans wont give Bulldogs a sniff like the Tigers did who were still able to win by 10 goals.
Suns are going to be really out of their element in their 4th game at the G, up against the #1 offensive side. Hawks will be bumping Pies out of the top 4 and only a game behind behind Sydney the following week Then in the final round Hawks have Eagles at the G and Swans are down in Geelong. Hawks with 2 wins and another healthy percentage boost could snaffle the minor premiership, regardless of if Swans beat the Cats.
Sydney -95.5 .4 @ 10.60 Hawks -149.5 .4 @ 9.50 x2 .2 @ 100.07
1u to win 27.18

#349 Posted: 8/18/2012 7:01:11 PM Only isolated showers forecast, it shouldn't be wet enough to help the Suns, max temp in Melbourne today is not far off a Brisbane overnight low. So the colder and wetter it gets those Gold Coast kids will be freezing their nuts off and Ablett and Bennell won't be able to stop the Hawks juggernaut.
Hawks -100.5 1u @ 2.02
I like Swans to score more than Eagles at 1.86 on that pick your own match thing, showers till late afternoon in Adelaide.

Wish I'd got on the Swans my match line
But at least I unloaded on the right game.
