#5 Posted: 7/24/2012 3:28:27 PM Well - I definitely like the line. Take a look at my streak finder spreadsheet. It essentially ranks teams by Hitting, Starting Pitching, and Bullpen.
For hitting - it ranks by Runs per Plate Appearence For Pitching - Runs Allowed per Inning Pitched.
I think it needs more filters though to help identify the dogs to bet.
I was thinking of adding travel - like when a east / west coast team travels a certain distance / # hours to get to their next series.
Maybe adding - 3 year to date W/L record - to see if a team dominates another team in a certain stadium.
Maybe adding - year to date W/L record vs L/R pitchers - to see if there is a trend there.
Then you play a HOT DOG - against a COLD FAV - where the DOG has better criteria.
Just a thought.....

#6 Posted: 7/24/2012 6:01:23 PM I did not will take a look, but your right.... a bunch of "value" in playing a dog that has been hot or even coming off just 1 big win as a dog in their previous game.
