#1 Posted: 12/13/2011 8:03:14 AM If there is one Aussie NBLer that has a realistic shot right now at cracking into the NBA its him. He's still relatively young (25). NBA lacks bigs, much more realistic to break into the league as a centre than any other position right now.
Watch this space how he gets on.

#3 Posted: 12/13/2011 7:06:29 PM Not sure.....the standard in the NBL for the past 2-3 years has been horrible...
What would Kazzouh do against Howard, Hibbert, Chandler, Bynum, Noah, et al?
They will eat him alive....Its not as if he is going to match up against the likes of Matt Burston |

#4 Posted: 12/13/2011 7:57:31 PM You will not find a more lazy player than Kazzouh, he switches in and out of games so much it is beyond a joke
Kazzouh has the talent but does not have the work ethic to make it in the NBA. I would say he is dreaming to think he can make it in the NBA

#5 Posted: 12/13/2011 10:00:24 PM Kazzouh attempting to make it in the NBA is the equivalent of Steve Smith creating a time machine and then trying to force his way into the Viv Richards captained West Indies team

#6 Posted: 12/13/2011 10:36:03 PM He's trying to get a roster spot that is all. No-one is talking about him being a tier 1-3 player. Many have made a great living playing sparingly off the bench. Not unrealistic given the lack of bigs. |

#7 Posted: 12/13/2011 11:21:54 PM "Moldovan reportedly said that Khazzouh's teammate Aaron Bruce will find out on Saturday if he will also get an NBA call-up."
Now that is unrealistic

#10 Posted: 12/14/2011 6:58:58 PM What i dont understand is, wasnt Aaron Bruce a star in college ball? I remember in the games he played, the commentators were mainly talking about him, and then he ends up in the NBL? |

Not that uncommon to be decent in college and then not making it well as a pro. There are many examples over the years. One of the best, google Eric Devendorf

#13 Posted: 12/15/2011 3:04:40 PM take a look at the GSW roster
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/gsw/roster
his opposition are plodders like - AMUNDSON, FLOWERS (ROOKIE), C.WRIGHT (ROOKIE), TYLER (ROOKIE)
hardly quality.
for those that follow the nba we all know there are plenty of rubbish big-men sitting at the end of benches, Kazzouh easily can match their likes.
Aaron Bruce however - no chance.
