That is called RLM(reverse line movement)- it is wise to take the team that the line is moving towards against the public fav. Most will look at the line and think they are getting a good team at a great value- just what they want you to think. Spyed that one last night- even a squirrel gets a nut once and awhile! |

Hmmmm, that wouldn't of made me switch my bet, I mean ATL is better then the METS, AND, they nearly won it, they won for me the first two games, I go with who's the better pitcher (Sheets), who has the better hitters (ATL), not by the line moving. Ya it worked for ya last night, but what about Game 2? The exact same odds were out with the same movment you're talkin about, and ATL won by 9 runs.... |

#12 Posted: 8/13/2012 5:29:53 PM Why the hell is this Hollywood clown following you into every thread to tell you not to post your picks? Did you give 5dimes your covers name?
And, you are right, that line was easy as hell to see and I am an idiot. :) |

Some good capping on the games but sometimes you have to go a bit further. Learning to read the line movement is just another tool to use. Take a closer look at the line moves of the game taking into consideration the % played on ATL and compare it to the other games in the series. You should see something fishy along with a low opening line on a superior team. If ya don't, sorry and the best of luck to you! |

#14 Posted: 8/13/2012 9:30:48 PM Don't check %'s on covers either- they just give the % 's of contest plays made here on covers, not actual #'s from books in Vegas. |
