Portland wins this by 10.

Lakers seemed very shaky last night. World Peace did not seem to fit into the offense at all, Kobe looked as if he just was in a shoot around, didn't pass the ball much and looked lethargic in offense. Portland wins this one easy.

If Lakers could make free throws they win that game last night!! PATHETIC!!!!! Lakers didn't even seem like they were trying!!! The crowd was at no point in the game!!! Basically a huge let down to open the season as a LAkers fan!!! 12 -31 free throws so stupid !!!!

Nash needs to be a much bigger part of the offense!! Metta needs to retire!!! Howard and Hill go practice some free throws!!! Kobe get your boys playing and have some energy!!!! Gasoft play like your 7 foot and quit being such a GIRLSCOUT!!!! Basically no energy or excitement at all in the Lakers last night!!

Portland always plays the Lakers strong at home and right now the Lakers are still trying to find chemistry on offense...Portland M/L +135

after watching the lakers last night and having a night to register what went wrong etc I came up with this.... number one the 6th man aka crowd was not in the game at any point causing frustration and players feeling the need to get them involved causing bad shots, fast shots, and guys trying to be a one man army which we all know is not good in any sport... number two metta world peace is taking too many bad shots his job is mainly defense yet he feels the need to make his name known in the offense he is a terrible shooter and a decent passer he doesnt fit well with this group in my opinion...number 3 steve nash looked like he was trying to just not make a mistake...he looked cautious last night...steve nash needs to be a big piece of this offense and use the pick and roll like he did with amare back in phx...he and dwight should have crushed the undersized mavs last night...number 4 kobe just didnt look like kobe bottomline but with kobe he can wake up at any point in time....it was also alarming how the dal bench outplayed LA bench.....
With that being said I like the lakers tonight and heres why.. Dwight will be matched up with hickson a first year rookie in his first NBA game unless the guy is made of ice i can see him being very nervous and having the jitters and even if he doesnt Dwight is a far superior player and will out match him.... damian lillard is also a first year rookie and he is a point guard... have the jitters and PG position are a terrible combination look for lillard to make some bad decisions in his NBA debut and like previous case even if he is made of ice steve nash will outmatch him at the position...and aldridge is mismatch for gasol but dont see it as being enough for blazers...lakers bench is better then blazers bench period.. maybe blazers show up in front of home crowd get them in game early and pull out a win but with two starting rookies i just dont see them beating the lakers after a dismal performance last night.. i see them coming out hard with a statement to prove.. they prob wont prove a statement but theyll win the game..
my pick is lakers gl to all lemme hope this information helps know if you agree with what i said

What?  Have you been living under a rock?  Hickson is in his fifth year and played with Lebron and the Cavs (2008-11)

Meyers Leonard is the rookie center and he's not a starter.

Why post if you don't know the NBA???

Lakers sure have looked like behind so far. I think tonight they use the pick and roll more and start to abandon that retarded princeton offense. Lakers for me in this one.

The Fakers is under contract with Vegas this season. Fakers over luxury tax 90 millions so they need to be sloppy if public lean heavy on the Fakers.
