Goin back to Houston, Houston, Houston. They do enough to win and cover. No more, no less.

Houston - 20                                             Miami - 6

Texans -10                                      under 43

Dolphins at one time were moneymakers as a dd road dog play....I don't see that happening with the players they are suiting up today.

Houston - Under

Just might buy the hook, just in case there's any late game shenanigans. Or maybe use the Texans on a teaser?? - - Texans -9.5

Let's see- On the surface, the game seems like a Houston blowout. It might be a blessing in disguise that Garrard is out. It appears to me that many of the cappers here, who were all over the Rams, might be AGAIN playing the wrong team. Oh well- At least I know I got this one right!

MIAMI  + 11.5 (PRIME BET!)

Vue, you may be right - and the line is now going in the wrong direction for me anyways. I was hesitant at 9.5, let alone 11.5

I'd probably only take the Texans on a teaser at this point - if I could get it under a touch.

Good luck with your prime bet.

TANNEHILL IS A CONVERTED WR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD , HES GOT LIKE 14 STARTS UNDER HIS BELT. NOW HE HAS TO BEAT A TOP 3 DEFENCE ON THE ROAD. NO WAY. LINE  IS MOVING ACCORDINGLY. I WOULD TAKE TEXANS -14

Vue, what is Miami going to do? They have no recievers really, a rookie QB, they are in rebuilding going up against a number one defense and a healthy top rate offense. I urge you to rethink this.

I respect your capping Mellowman, and I might downgrade my original bet to a regular one. Hey , I have my strong doubts about the 'Phins winning here, but given what I do know about Miami, I find the points very enticing here. Yes- I'm aware this is something of a rebuilding year. Personally, I think they'll only win 4 or 5 games. However, covering the number is all that matters to me here. If you check, the Texans ain't exactly burning the books with their mediocre ATS records, either. Sometimes, you have to be a contrarian, and pick less popular teams. Me, and a dozen posters out of over 120 picked the Cowboys-so who's eating crow now!

1. Dolphins are 0-6 all time against Texans franchise.
2. Tannehill rookie QB on the Road going against Texans defense with Home field advantage.
3. Texans are balance on both offense and defense.
4. Schaub Top 10 QB, Johnson Top 5 WR, Foster Top 5 RB, Texans Top 5 Defense.

According to the respected Phil Steele's Pro Football Guide, pg 42, Tannehill,  ROOKIE (14 starts?) out of Texas A & M, 1st round, started at A  & M, as wide receiver, and QB in his last 2 years. HE won't make 1st round if he was exactly "dogmeat" as a QB.

In 2011, Tannehill started all 13 games (including the bowl game) at quarterback for the Aggies and served as team captain. He threw for 3,744 yards and 29 touchdowns, with 15 interceptions. He completed 61.6% of his passes and posted a quarterback rating of 133.2. He also ran for 4 touchdowns.

Tannehill concluded his quarterback career at Texas A&M with a total of 5,450 passing yards and 42 touchdown passes

Thanks for the kind words.  I see your logic. I would wait for it to get to 13.5 or higher before pushing the button on it though, a few key numbers more could increase your odds.  I anticipate more square money will be crowding in Saturday and Sunday morning.

Nice job on Dallas! I think Dallas may have turned a corner this year if they can stay healthy.

I agree Babygus. He aint got garbage to work with, just like Bradford. HE wont get any open lanes even if he did have somebody to throw to,and lastly, any self respecting coach would not go on national television with that dumbass show also. So, I have no respect for the coach either.

Agree with your assessment BABY GUS. Miami has a lot of "dogmeat" on the whole team. But after the last couple years, I think a rebuild effort is in order. With that being said, I don't actually see the team mailing in the season either!

Houston has a great defense and great offense vs. a descent defense and practice squad offense.  Rookie Tannehill and no WR's on the road in week 1......they are gonna have to throw the ball to keep up.......good luck to the brave betters out there choosing Miami.  Houston -14
