Bowl ban?

Any sanctions would hit the following year.  Oregon is good to go this year.  And I don't think what they did is going to warrant any kind of postseason ban anyaways.

whats all this i keep hearing about Bennett being such a great replacement. i saw the Oregon Ducks spring game the other day and he look like flat out crap.. and how can u guys say that Darren Thomas left the team cause he was headed to the bench? thats rediculous guys como0n.. besides lemichael james he was the man on offense the last 2 seasons..Bennett been getting outplayed by the other new kid as well. thats why i keep asking if they can really cover spreads like in the past

You can't get so worked up over 2 players... yes those 2 players were good, but Oregon recruits well and they have some big playmakers coming back... Defensively they should be much improved and more experienced this year

Corley, you have a good handle on this team.  Haven't disagreed with you yet in this thread.  Look for this to be the best UO defense (in particular the front 7) in quite sometime, maybe since the early part of the last decade with Haloti Ngata and Igor Olshanky.  Dion Jordan is a strong contender for conference DPOY.

Oregon's D will definitely be stout, and even losing James will hurt....they still have an amazing 1-2 punch in Barner and D-Thomas....most school's would kill for that backfield.

Not to mention Chip still being at the helm, therefore;running up the score is still in the cards.

Thomas leaving was a good thing for Oregon. He was an average QB at best and when Bennett stepped in they kept working just fine.
