I bet this comes down a bit before the season. Forte-Bush. Marshall-Hester-Jeffrey-Bennett. Earl Bennett can play. If Cutler plays like he did last year, you never know.

I love it. They were playing well last season 7-3 and on a roll. Cutler went down and that was it. They also lost Forte too. The defense is always solid. Love the pickups they made also and in my opinion they had a good draft. I have $150 on it to win $3500. It also helps that they play the soft NFC West. Solid prop bet.

Its a very good play.  I think Green Bay gets out of the way for Detroit or Chicago to take the division.

Thanks, but You think Green Bay will be 3rd in conference?I dont know about that. I think for the value Chicago is worth a few hundred bucks for sure but I still like Green Bay to win it all if odds werent involved.

it was at 3000 at 5dimes when I made the thread. 2000 seems more correct if you ask me.

A better play might be the Seahawks @ 40/1..........they get the soft NFC central ('cept GB of course), very winnable roadies @ Carolina, Detroit, Miami, & Buffalo. If they can split with SF then 12-4/11-5 is attainable.

I like the seahawks but I like the Bears and the defense much better. Not sold on Flynn either. Gotta prove it for more than a game a year.  If it doesnt pan out for Flynn he could always be a Matt Damon stunt double. They look alot alike don't you think!

Call me a Homer but why not throw a few bucks on the Bills at 70-1 ????

very nice offseason for a team that started 5-2

Great value.  Health is a big wildcard, gotta have a lot go right, but the pieces are there for this to be the best most complete Bears team that Lovie Smith has had.

Make sure Matt Forte signed the contact before placing a bet on this team.

I don't understand why the Bears didn't draft OL in the NFL draft. Cutler gets sacked too much every season.

I was wondering about that, too.   I'd like to see what Cutler could do behind a decent OL for one season

How do you sell that?

I could see an argument for the Bears.....decent QB and RB, added a ProBowl receiver in the off season, decent D and good special teams with Peppers, Urlacher, Briggs, Hester, etc.   Also they were in the NFC championship game recently, and (possibly) could've made it again last year except for injuries.   So, a SB is possible, if they're a bit lucky.

Seahawks have a good RB and defensive secondary, but not sure about their offense with Flynn @ QB..   I think making the playoffs is possible, and (maybe) winning one playoff home game is about the best that they could do.

BTW they are 50-1 @ 5D

Coach Pete Carroll said that Tarvaris Jackson currently has his nose in front of Matt Flynn for the starting quarterback job.

The incumbent usually does have an edge this time of year.

25-1 on up looks great for da Bearsss. I think da Billsss have to fight the real uphill battle just to get there, so no way I'd take them at less than 70-1. As far as Seattle goes,  ,maybe in a few years.

GL      Sept. can't get here soon enough

The lions are not a good football team. All flash and no substance. Their lines will be inflated due to the big name fantasy football players like stafford and johnson. I can't wait to fade them in certain spots this season.

Oh....

Well actually if you wanna know the truth.  The Detroit Lions are in the process of building a very productive franchise.  They currently have probably the best youngest offense in the entire league and will be great for years to come as long as Stafford stays healthy.  Now we will faulter at times do to our horrible secondary.  But we have a very strong defensive line and they are also young.  I think it will take another draft or two to solidfy our defense but lets be clear here they are building it correctly.    To say the Lions have no substance is an absolute joke!!!
