Funny world huh? The silly Kings did everything they could to trade this guy at the trade deadline. And the silly everyone else in the league that offered them nothing reasonable for him.

That's how close the Kings were to not even making the playoffs. They would not have made the big late run without him leading them down the stretch, and they would have been clowned out of these playoffs without him.

The guy is the new ultimate warrior as far as I'm concerned. Built for the playoffs through and through. An ultimate leader who can do it all. And more importantly does do it all.

And the only reason he is even still a King is because everyone else in the league offered crap back when the Kings were trying to off load him, because they thought Mike Richards could be their new leader.

What a massive mistake that would have been. Richards is a very talented hockey player but he is no leader imo. If your Captain is too selfish to even stay sober for a few weeks for the good of the team, that is no friggin leader. That is a selfish spoiled little prick with attitude. He is great in the role he is in now with the Kings though.

With just one phone call, the whole hockey world would have been looking so much different right now. If the Kings win the Cup and Brown does noy get the Conn Smythe then there should be criminal charges laid on someone. Man do I wish that guy was on my team.

As Dustin Brown goes, so go the Kings.

I don't believe he was ever on the block, that was the usual completely out in left field NHL media, blowing a story up!  None of them have a clue what the league is really about?

They just then distract everyone from the fact that they were completely wrong by pointing fingers.

Only Dustin and the Kings know what went down, and there don't seem to be any issues there?

Totally agree man.

It was weird because it came from Bob McKenzie who unlike other rumor mongers out there only reports facts from reliable sources.

Regardless, the guy was their captain and he is built for playoffs. There wasn't any logic behind attempting to trade him. What team would trade their leader and top 6 player while trying to make the playoffs?

If he was on the trading block teams would have offered a LOT for him there is no doubt about that.

No clue either as to what really went down, but his numbers have been amazing since that happened. I want to say it might have been a motivational tactic but that doesn't really make sense lol. But you never know, Brown is character guy.

I coulnd't agree more.... I am a huge Dustin Brown fan..... I so badly wanted my Sabres to get him at the deadline..... I would have let the Kings taken virtually whatever they wanted off the Sabres for him.

I remember Eklund talking about Brown to Buffalo so that obviously was never going to happen! lol

Bobby Mac probably got fooled by someone.

Let's keep in mind they needed a pure goal scorer, so something drastic had to be done if they were to contend for real. The team offensively barely had a pulse all season. But then the Carter deal happened and they were satisfied with that. Since then it has been Brown himself that has become a potent offensive weapon and that's because it's money time and like most character guys that's when you will see him at another level.

PB if the Kings win the Stanley Cup it's going to be a tough choice for the Conn Smythe. Brown or Quick?

No Brainer to me... Quick has his defense in front of him... while Brown has the opponent and a goalie in front of him... and Brown has beaten both on a regular basis...

Dustin Brown = MVP

As the playoffs progressed I said the same thing about Quick... To be honest I could NOT choose between the two and would have had no problem with a shared MVP between them... BOTH were big reason for the results. With the low NJ shot count I almost think maybe it should have been Brown... can't decide... but nice problem to have for the Kings.

Polar Bear....lend me your ear for a second.

You are two faced and when people ask where I am you have the audacity to post that I am using an alias,,,,,,thinking that was me posing?.  Really?   Are you that retarded bro?

I have heard you talked garbage about me when I was an active poster but will let it go.      I don't tolerate that garbage from "friends".

Two faced? That would mean I showed you another face that said I liked you and I never did that. I asked you to post a link to something once, but I have never once acted like your friend because I'm not, I don't particularly like or respect you so why would I?

For the purposes of getting along on the site I have been respectful, and tolerated your lies and bullshit when it comes to your false records that many others have called you out on, but I chose not to get involved aside frompolitely asking you about it once. I'm not big on liars and complete bullshitters, and that is what you are. You have posts to prove it. I would not be mentioning any of this as it's not worth my time and easier to just get along but since your coming at me with this trash then here it is.

As for saying you have aliases, yes I would bet all I own that you do use them as It just goes in line with your shady, insecure character, but I don't recall saying that to anyone, but can't be certain I didn't, I really don't remember posting anything like that, I know I have read many other posts saying that, and gotten many other pm's from people saying that about you.

You can link these convos where I said all these things in my pm  box to show me what I posted if one truly does exist.

At the end of the day I could give a flying darn what you think about me and I'm not your "bro". Go friggin corrupt your records some more and/or go into someones pm box with your psychotic ranting attacks, I have seen some of those doozies you sent to people in private by the way. Now that stuff is RETARDED. I'm a straight shooter. You are never a person that even enters my thoughts, but since you decided to post this garbage, I'm telling you.my thoughts now.

That's me, there's my face. I have never had a problem showing it. Other than the fucked up, psychotic posts of yours that people have linked in my inbox I have never had any thoughts of you in general and didn'y even engage much in my opinions on those. When I chose to question you on lying about your record in your thread once, I did just that, I came into your thread and asked you point blank about it, but ofcourse following in suit with your character you ignored me and the other posters asking you and just disappeared.

Anything you wanna discuss just let me know, I have one face and there it is cowboy, all you had to do is ask and unlike you I actually responded. I did not run off into the night to create another alias to fuel my attention starved insecurities with.

Top of the friggin morning to ya son....

By the way there Mr. LORD All Mighty while I have another minute. I find it very odd and for it to be a very strange coincidence that you post these accusations in an old thread of mine, trying to make me look bad, they very morning right after the two alias posters in the linked thread below refused to respond to me last night but yet did the posters around me. Anyone else with any common sense here will find this odd and probably be able to see it for what it really is.No response to my posts 45 and 47 yet out of no where, here you are immediately after that exchange deleting me off of a friend list, and posting this crap about aliases trying to make me look bad and trying to discredit the posts in that thread indirectly. Anyone with sense can see right through this and you. Right Dilaudid? Or Lord, or whoever you are today.
