I was going to take North Goal first scoring play @ 2.40 and passed on it.

Passed on North TT over 124.5 and Giants under 52.5 due to being juiced at 12-15 cents, looks like both will hit.

bom said it was showery and windy in Hobart and it looks like an ideal day?

Hawks look pretty good. If they beat the Cats surely they have to be favourites for the cup

Catters!!!!!!!!!!

My boys failed last week but I knew they'd get up and beat this very overrated Hawthorn unit.

They were pretty much playing a full squad apart from Max Bailey (who's a B-grader anyways) and obviously Hodge who's a champion and they were up and running after and uninterrupted preseason.

Geelong are missing 5 of their best 22 in Wojcinski, Menzel, Hunt, Scarlett and Varcoe.
Throw in our number 1 ruckman 'Dawson Simpson' who will be back to playing VFL footy at about round 11, this team is going to be hard to beat.

Always felt Hawthorn have no defense, no rucks and lack any forward marking threat. Franklin just doesn't mark and lacks a right foot.

Cats were always $$$$ today and will continue to be throughout the year as the media blow sunshine up Hawthorn & Collingwood arse.

really?
I think Magpies by 30 points again. Carlton yet another one of these teams getting more credit than what they actually got.

Who will stop Thomas, Pendlebury, Swan, Sidebottom and Ball?
What hope have their pathetic defenders got against Cloke and Dawes?

Judd will be brilliant along with Murphy but Betts never shows up in big games like this and he needs to kick his 3 goals for them to even get within a goal or two.

Collingwood by 19 points for me.

"Gulp" I had Blue's as a strong lean. I might have to give this game a really good look over next few days

hey man, it's only my personal opinion...don't let me talk you out of it but perhaps your onto something.

Collingwood certainly aren't quite the same side as last year (just yet), either way, will be a cracking match.
Maturity and experience usually gets the job done in tight matches.
