#258 Posted: 6/28/2012 6:27:39 PM The whole point to Blinds parlay system was to play underdogs. If you play favorites over the long term you will lose more money.
A case can be made today for Toronto, Mets, Cincy, Detroit, even Boston at -105.
These -120 favs make it so that even if you win won, you barely cover the other 3 losses.
Enough underdogs win each night that you should be able to find a could parlay that hits for 7 to 9 units.

#265 Posted: 6/29/2012 1:16:00 PM Blind never incorporated over/unders I think. Only dogs until the end when he put in a small fav. No first five innings, no score first inn, no team totals, no run lines, etc. Hitting all four parlays using dogs was big pay out. Hitting even one parlay was making a profit. Was with him on two of those days when he had three out of four dogs correct. Maybe one was with a fav. |

Nope no one knows. Taking all under dogs is a good strategy. your parlay record could be like 7-40 but you could still be up in $$ lol |

#268 Posted: 6/29/2012 6:47:55 PM Underdogs I like tonight:
Washington +105 : Delgado and Atlanta have been a bad home team. Washington is a good road team. Detwiler pitches well on the road.
San Diego +130: Marquis is a solid pitcher, Francis is not. Colorado pullben has been beat up and had to pitch a lot lately!
TORONTO +120: Ervan Santana has been bad all year and gives up the HR ball. Not the team to do that against at home.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX +113: Quintana has been solid, doesn't allow to many walks. Going up against a guy making his major league debut. Give me the odds against that any day.

#272 Posted: 7/2/2012 6:52:14 PM What happened to everyone???
Long time no talk! I did hit 3/4 my last post..... Sadly today that will not continue. Don't like Mondays card.
7 of the 12 games are -160 or greater.... Just way to many big dawgs. Could I pick one? Sure... but 2 or 3 huge dawgs is just asking to much.
If I had to pick four (gun to my head) Here are the ones... BUT I DO NOT LIKE THESE GAMES TODAY!!!
NYY +124- yes... Freddy Garcia might get lit up by the West team from the little league world series... but Tampa Bay may have a weaker lineup right now. With no Longoria and Joyce, this team just isn't doing crap. Pena and his .100 ba along with the corpse BJ Upton... I just don't like TB as a favorite against the yankees!
BOS +102. Matsuzaka looked good last time out and if this guy is workin it, he still is a good pitcher. Boston has seen Parker this season and I think they will have a better approach this time out. Boston is just a better team than Oakland I will always take the points when better teams play weaker ones.
SD + 143- SD is bad on the road, but did pick up some wins in Houston (Astros weren't playin that bad). Richard has been good this season, and held Zona in check last time out. In what should be a low scoring game... i'll take a big dawg. One weird run might be the difference.
HOU +165- The game I like the least..... but like I said above.. in a tight game.. I'll take a huge dog. Lyles has been good this season and Pitts ( recently they have been hot) offense doesn't usually set the world on fire.
GL EVERYONE. TALK TO YOU ALL SOON

#275 Posted: 7/3/2012 6:44:43 PM Ok. Last day unless some people come back and get some good conversation going.
SAN DIEGO +124 - Padres young team is actually playing well right now, Arizona is not. Bauer making just 2nd start, Cashner been good since his call up. Give me the Padres to make it two in a row
CLEVELAND +105- Haren hasn't pitched well in last 5.... and even in his last 10 hasn't held to many teams under 3 runs. 8 hrs in his last 5 with a 1.81 whip! no thanx. Cle is 4-1 in mccalister starts, 3-0 in last 3. good era/good whip.
TEXAS +122 - Do I need to do a write up on Texas as an underdog?
BALTIMORE +134- Hernandez is a great pitcher... but the Mariners are just 8-9 when he starts. Baltimore hits .236 and scores less than 4 runs / 9 against lefties. Chen is solid! Mariners 16-23 at home Balt 20-17 on road. Give me the O's
