It's not that Detroit can't lose, they certainly can. It's merely that Detroit is a very bad matchup for Denver. How do you hurt the Detroit defense??? You have a balanced offense with a downfield threat. That way the run and pass have to be respected. And when Suh and the boys pin their ears back, you can screen and draw. And when they stack the line, you can get the ball downfield. You play Detroit front 7 over-aggression against itself. However, if you come at them one-dimensional, especially with little passing threat, you're in deep trouble.
Couple with that Denver's poor secondary and Detroit coming off two losses and a sour taste in their mouth. It's just a VERY bad spot for Denver. You've got the media crowning Suh a quarterback hunter with dirty tricks, and the same media crowning Tebow as a comeback hero (well somewhat). Media is pumping Tebow, media is trashing Suh. Tim Tebow, meet a very unhappy, 2-loss, Suh...not a great day to be in the Denver backfield. DETROIT medium play.
