WASHINGTON STATE +7.5
WASHINGTON STATE/PITT UNDER 58.5 HALF
im taking state with or without gibbs. the way i look at is he was 2-7 in game 1 and couldnt play in a must win game 2 so even if he plays how effective can he be today. pitt was completely lost in the 2nd half which probably sums up why they are in this tourney. there is no reason they shouldnt have won that game by dd. i dont know if dixon is an idiot or they just dont listen but they refuse to go inside every play. in the 2nd half they sat there and dribbled out the shot clock and took contested jumpers and let washington st right back in it. every time they went inside either driving or passing good things happened. so assuming they play like that again state should hang around like last game. |

Ray was a brand new force for that locker of smart college boys to experience. The Ravens are comprised of a bunch of paid, jaded pros that have the luxury (or maybe the pain) of hearing him every week several times for months.
Kind of like having a hot wife/girlfriend for years and that "new car" appeal of her wears off so much that at times you may want to golf or just watch a game than to ride her. The Stanford college boys were experiencing that very awesome first time of getting in her pants! (Remember that?)

#10 Posted: 3/30/2012 2:55:02 PM Basketball is definitely a sport where the more times you play an opponent in a short time frame, usually the games are more competitive....considering this is their 3rd game in 5 days, 7.5 is WAY to many points...lets go STATE!!! |

#18 Posted: 3/30/2012 5:17:33 PM I was thinking of taking Pitt.in the FH,already have Wash.St+8,but if it does play out like last game,Pitt wins FH and lets Wash St stay around in sec.half. Any thoughts on this?

not a bad idea..pitt also had the big lead in game 1 and blew it
on a side not ive seen a million threads about people talking about the line in game 2 and 3 when there is NOTHING out of the ordinary about it. i think people forget washington state opened as a -1 fave in game 1 and pitt got pounded to -2 at game time so thats the line they worked off for game 2. you figure 4 points for home court and then you have the -10 opener in game 2. now tonights game is right back in line with the game 1 opening line. pitt may win by 30 but there is nothing fishy about the line |
