Ducks 6, Stars 3: Corey Perry scored twice and captain Ryan Getzlaf recorded a goal and three assists as host Anaheim rallied to celebrate the 1,500th game in franchise history with its club record-tying seventh consecutive victory.
Emerson Etem recorded a goal and an assist, Teemu Selanne and Mathieu Perreault also tallied and Perry set up a score for the Ducks, who completed a perfect five-game homestand. Frederik Andersen stopped all 24 shots he faced in relief of Jonas Hiller (nine saves) in his NHL debut.
Shawn Horcoff recorded a goal and an assist, Ryan Garbutt and defenseman Brenden Dillon also tallied and Jack Campbell made 41 saves in his first NHL game as Dallas lost for the fourth time in five contests.
Selanne gave the Ducks the lead with a power-play goal 2:38 into the contest, but the Stars scored three times in the latter half of the first period for a 3-1 advantage. Perry converted a feed from Getzlaf 54 seconds into the middle session to begin Anaheim's comeback and was credited with a power-play goal at 11:48, when defenseman Cam Fowler's shot from the left point glanced off his right arm and into the net.
Etem snapped the 3-3 tie when he redirected a pass from Andrew Cogliano past Campbell while short-handed with 1:05 remaining in the second. Getzlaf and Perreault added third-period goals to seal the win.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Anaheim also won seven in a row from Feb. 20-March 7, 1999. ... The two-goal effort was Perry's 35th career multi-goal performance. ... Dallas C Tyler Seguin had his six-game point streak come to an end.
